Food and rationing In world war to food was verey scarres because thesupliy ships that brot food in to briten wernt going outbecause they cept getting bomed by german planesso britan had to supply most of its food for its self.Englends farmes had to worck exstra hard and had togrow what the government wanted them to grow. Rationing worked by giving a Rationing book to evrey person and when theywhated to get food thay needed to bring the book to there chosen shop and get itsind of under the corect category the categorys wearmeat,eggs,fats,cheese,bacon,suger/persevetives.The avrage rason a erson cod have perar weak is: 50g of butter, 100g of bacon/ham, 100g of margarine, 225g of suger, 1800ml ofmilk, 50g of cheese, 6p(1shilling) worth of meat, 1 freesh egg,50g of tea, 450g of jam everey 2 months, 1 dried egg packet every 4 weeks, and 350g of sweets every 4 weeks. The government also introjused a polecey call dig for victorey thatposweaded people to grow the own vegtables and breed there oneanamals Rabbits were a good alternative because they were quick tobreed.

The other wna was to put blimps up in the sky at night so the planes crash in tothem and the blims were fild with hidrogen that isa flambal gas so whne the plancrashes in to them they blow up thay were caled the Balloon Barrage thay werealso lached from specialised vehicles. Thay also youed british planes to shout down the german planes.

My granmar remembered about tanks going across the street and therewere American soldiers living in the home of the people how liver in thetown and my grandmas mother accommodated them. My grandadas town there were americans camping in the town.
