HARRY HEADS UP HRCongratulations to a dedicated Hirsch staff member, Harry PrithipaI who has taken over as head of HR for the Hirsch Group. Harry has been with Hirsch’s for 17 years, starting out in sales and then as a Trainee Manager at the Springfield branch. He moved to Gauteng when the Centurion branch opened and was Assistant and then Acting Branch Manager at the branch. His interest has always been in the Human Resources field, and a few years later he was promoted to HR Manager, Gauteng, before taking up his present position. Harry’s advice to fellow staff members : “Be loyal, dedicated and obey all the rules and policies at Hirschs. If you work as if this company was your own, you too will reach the heights which you desire.”

ACHIEVERS OF THE MONTHWARREN PEARCE AND MICHELLE RAUTENBACHThe recently held ILoveDN Theatre Market that was spear headed by Richard and organised by Hirsch’s National Events Co-ordinator, Warren Pearce, and Hirsch Décor Interior Decorator and PR and Marketing Officer, Michelle Rautenbach, was, by all accounts an unqualified success. “Both Warren and Michelle put an enormous amount of work into making sure that the event ran smoothly. We had over 2,000 people at the ILoveDN Theatre Market (held in the park opposite Hirsch Décor) and altho it was held a few weeks ago, people are still talking about it – and looking forward to the next one!” said Richard.

TEAMBUILDING

Superstore decided to get competitive and set a target weekly for staff to bring in Opt-In Forms. The Cash Desk brought in over 200 Opt-In Forms, and were the lucky winners of some delicious easter eggs! Well done ladies.
