Saab is our passionAt Hirsch Performance we work exclusively with Saab cars and have done so from the very start, back

in 1967. This reveals our passion for Saab and what we do. It also points to the expertise we possess

when it comes to upgrading Saab cars. It is also why we can promise to add a unique driver and

ownership experience to your Saab. From the Hirsch Performance development centre in Switzerland,

we offer you a full range of performance upgrades and sporty accessories.

Long heritage

Originally established in 1967 as a Saab dealership, we havefour decades of Saab experience. We are based in St. Gallen

and have grown to become a Saab competence centre with

activities that stretch far beyond the borders of Switzerland.

Remaining a relatively slim and agile organisation, our way

of doing things continues to be characterised by speed

and flexibility.

Everything we develop is designed with integrity and purpose,

enhancing some aspect of perfor mance. An ongoing dialogue

with the worldwide Saab community ensures valuable feedback.

Meticulous process

The Hirsch Performance development centre features two

rolling road dynamometers and an engine test cell, enabling

accurate measurements and the simulation of extreme

conditions. The result is then verified under real-life

conditions in exhaustive road tests.

Retained warranty

In our work we always keep within safety and design limits,

never compromising quality and durability. Every step of

the way we stay true to Saab, which is why the Saab factory

warranty is always retained. The standard servicing intervals

also remain unchanged.

Entertaining performanceWith the Hirsch Performance upgrades, Saab petrol engines receive a vitamin injection that

makes them deliver between 20 and 60 more horsepower than the original, depending on

the model. In parallel, torque is increased by a similarly impressive 45 80 Nm over a wide

rpm range. As you can imagine, this means a completely new and decidedly more entertaining

driving experience.

Excite your sensesThe purpose of Hir sch Performance is to enhance both the form and function of your Saab,

offering products that touch your senses in a subtle but distinctive way. From the instrument

panel through to the aluminium pedals and wheels, all the components are manufactured

to the highes t quality s tandards an d perfec tly harmon ised with each o ther and with the

rest of the design.

Leather instrument panel

The Hirsch Performance leather instrument panel creates a wholenew interior. We use carbon leather, which is a new grade of leather

with a carbon-fibre structure. The result is a truly unique cockpit design.

The leather instrument panel can be ordered separately or together

with the Hirsch Performance aluminium pedals.

Leather interior set for the Saab 9-3

The Hirsch Performance leather interior set includes front and rear

door handles, handbrake lever and smart-slot cover. These high-quality

leather accessories complement the standard or premium leather

option and the Hirsch Performance leather instrument panel.

Aluminium pedals

Hirsch Performance has designed exclusive pedals of unique fit and

quality, complementing the other aluminium applications in your Saab.

For optimal strength, the racing-style pedals are each CNC-machined

from a single billet of aluminium. And like true racing pedals, the

aluminium has been drilled out to save weight. Finally, the pedals are

equipped with non-slip rubber gripping pads for perfect control.

Fits the Saab 9-3 and 9-5.

Spoiler

Aerodynamic products from Hirsch Performance are created through

exhaustive tests in the wind tunnel and make a significant contribution

to reducing vehicle lift. The result is lower drag, better handling at

high speeds and a sporty appearance to match. Some of the best

examples are the rear spoiler for the Saab 9-5 SportCombi and the

aerodynamic kit for the Saab 9-3.

Stainless steel sports exhaust systems

A smooth idle purr, a relaxed partial load rumble and a gratifyingroar at high rpm with wide-open throttle. This is the sound of a

Hirsch Performance exhaust system. It is also the result of many

hours of work in the acoustics lab and on the road, tweaking the

configuration of the system to perfectly enhance the character of

Saab automobiles.

The tailpipes are polished, chromed and embossed with the

Hirsch Performance logotype. In order to integrate the dual

exhaust systems in a harmonious way, the system is delivered with

a corresponding rear skirt.

Through careful flow-optimised design of all the pipes, bends and

muffler components, back pressure has been reduced in comparison

with the standard exhaust system. The fact that the entire system

is made of stainless steel ensures a maximum of d urability and a

minimum of maintenance. All necessary mounting parts are included

to facilitate installation.

Just like all other Hirsch Performance products, the exhaust systems

are compliant with EU homologation requirements and are shipped

with the necessary d ocumentation. Vehicles equipped with Hirsch

Performance products remain covered by the Saab warranty.

For the Saab 9-3 and 9-5, Hirsch Performance offers dual exhaust

systems, regardless of whether you have a Diesel, BioPower or petrol

engine model.

Brake upgrade

With the Hirsch Performance brake system, you can be sure that

the stopping power is always there when you need it. We achievethis by using well-proven, deceivingly low-key single piston technology

that is scaled up generously. This also optimises cooling performance.

Furthermore, the small number of moving parts exposed to the hot

and corrosive environment ensures excellent reliability and durability.

Sport chassis for the Saab 9-5

The Hirsch Performance sport chassis lowers the centre of gravity,

which means the handling and braking performance of your Saab 9-5

are improved and a sportier stance is created. The sport chassis has

been developed to ensure that comfort and handling are well balanced

and that the Saab safety systems operate cor rectly under extreme

conditions. Fitting the sport chassis means that the car is lowered by

approximately 15 mm.

Sport springs for the Saab 9-3

The specially developed Hirsch Performance sport springs lower the

centre of gravity of your Saab 9-3 by approximately 20 mm. The result

is even better driving dynamics with improved handling and braking

performance, while ensuring that the Saab safety systems operate

correctly under extreme conditions. Another advantage is of course

an even sportier appearance.

Alloy wheels

Hirsch Performance has developed alloy wheels in four outstand-

ingly stylish and distinctive designs, enhancing the appearance of

your Saab. The high-performance wheels are either flow formed

(5-twin spoke) or manufactured using a low-pressure casting process

(3-spoke and 6-spoke) and are both outstandingly lightweight and

robust. The reduced unsprung mass improves both dynamic properties

and comfort. What is more, perfect roundness has been ensured,

minimising the need for balance weights. These characteristics may

be hard to notice for the untrained eye, but you may notice the

smooth, vibration-free ride.
