• Schedule time to social network– Post regularly: once every day or two

• Post “real” items• Remember your audience• Use apps to monitor your brand

Etiquette• Don’t complain…unless it’s REALLY funny• Be positive, but not fake• Be selective about whom you friend– Don’t be afraid to “unfriend” someone

• Don’t post anything that could get you fired– Don’t post that you’re looking for a new job until

you have an accepted job offer– Complaints about current company or its leaders
