Method: Using 6mm needles and two strands of yarn, cast on 76 sts and join in a round, being careful not to twist the sts. Place marker to mark the beginning of the round. Work 10 rows in k1, p1 rib. Change to 8mm needles and continue working in k1, p1 rib until the hat measures 26cm from cast on edge. Next round: *k1, s1, k2tog, psso*, repeat from * to * until end. Next round: k2tog until end. Break yarn and thread it through the remaining sts, drawing the hat closed. Sew in ends.
