＜Browser Settings＞

For those who are using “Cultiva Global”, the following settings are required.

Disable Pop-up Blocking

Turn On Cookies

For Internet Explorer, the following privacy setting should be set.

Set as “Trusted Site”

Check “Override Automatic Cookie Handling”.

Check “Always Allow Session Cookies”.

※When the support by the browser, OS and other software suppliers are

2. Login/Logout

How to Login 1)

Explanation of the Learning System Login.

① The Learner`s Guidance Page can be opened by accessing the following

URL. http://asp-learning.com/hn_english/

② Login page can be accessed by clicking the《Start Learning System》

button.

③ After typing the Login ID and Password, click《Sign-in》to Login.

※When logging in for the first time, please change the initial password to

the desired password.

Password Condition：

Alphanumeric Character：6 characters or more

Note: Must include at least one (1) numerical character.

④ The home page will be displayed after login.



How to Logout 2)

Explanation on how to logout.

① Click the《Self》icon located on the upper-right of the screen, then click、

《Sign out》.

② It will automatically logout.

3. Using the Menu

Homepage 1)

Explanation on using the Homepage.

① By clicking the HINO Logo located in the upper portion of the page, the

homepage will be displayed.

1. HINO Logo : Transfers to homepage when clicked.

2. Self : Opens the Self Menu.

3. Timeline : Displays the registered courses and lessons can be accessed from here.

Also displayed in the lower portion of the page.

Explanation regarding the Self Menu.

① By clicking the《Self》button, a menu will be displayed in the left portion of

the display.

1. Profile Details : Can confirm the user`s recorded information.

Language,Timezone Setting can also be set in this menu.

2. Learning : Message

Can confirm the notice coming from the LMS system.

※ Displayed details are the same with ones sent through

E-mail.

: Training Schedule

Displays the registered courses and lessons can be accessed

from here. Also, completed courses can be reviewed here.

Explanation regarding Timeline.

① When《Timeline》is clicked, the registered courses and due date are

displayed.

② When《VIEW DETAILS》is clicked, the course details are displayed.

1. 《START》Button Lesson can be started by clicking this button.

2. Status : Display for lesson items status.

：Completed lesson.

：Lesson in progress（Failure in completion tests are

also regarded as in-progress）

：Lesson not yet started.

3 Attempt History ：Date completed and score is displayed.

4. Completed Status ：The overall progress of the selected course are displayed.

4. Lesson Procedure

How to start the lesson 1)

Explanation on how to start the lesson.

① Click the《VIEW DETAILS》button of the course taken located in the

Homepage Timeline.

② Please click the《START》button to start the lesson.

※ When reviewing already completed items, access it through the

Training Schedule.



③ The course selected will pop up. And then, please click《NEXT》to start the

lesson.

※For activities with a prerequisite that must be completed, the course

cannot be started without the condition being cleared. Please complete

the required activity.



How to proceed the lesson 2)

Explanation on how to proceed the lesson.

1. Home : Return to the course`s top page.

Back : Return to the previous page.

Replay : Refreshes the page.

Next : Proceed to the next page.

* Does not show up when all of the page contents are not read.

Browsed items are marked with a check.

2. INDEX : Shows the section contents.

3. Close : Stops the lesson.

* Display is closed by clicking the X button on the browser.

4. Button : Click to show the contents of the lesson.

5. Guide : Shows the guide character.

6. Progress Bar : Shows the progress state in the chapter.

7 Exit Button : Cannot be used.

① Once the contents are understood, click the《Next》button.

② Detailed explanation can be seen by clicking each buttons.



③ To return onto the previous page, click《Close》.

④ Items that were already seen are marked with a check.

※The《Next》button won`t show up when all of the items aren`t checked.



Changing Pages 3)

Explanation regarding changing pages.

① When returning to the previous page, click the《Back》button.

② Returning one page back is possible.



③ Lesson status can be confirmed by clicking the《INDEX》button.

Completed pages are marked with a check.

By clicking the items with a check mark, the completed page can still be

reviewed.

Guide Character Display 4)

The guide character will advise for the next operation

when the user doesn`t know the next step.

① When《What should be done next?》is clicked, the guide character will

show up. Proceed to the lesson through the given instruction.



Interrupting the Lesson 5)

When the lesson is closed/interrupted, in can still be

reopened on the interrupted page next time.

① Click《Close》during learning.

※Please click the X button in the browser.

② When a dialogue box appears, click the《OK》button.

※Since the displayed page will automatically refresh, do not close the

original page.

③ The training status will show up.

1. Total score : Shows the result of the completion test.

N/A：Completion test not taken.

0％：Failed the completion test.

100％：Passed the completion test.

2. Percent complete ：Shows the learning progress.

0％：In the middle of the lesson.

100％：Finished all the learning items.

3 First launch date ：Shows the date when the lesson was started.

4. Time elapsed ：Shows the learning time.

5 Topic status ：Displays the section learning status.

Incomplete：Did not complete all the items.

Failed：Completed all the items but failed in the

completion test.

Completed：Successfully completed all the items.

④ When the《OK》button is clicked, it will go back to the beginning.

⑤ Interrupted lessons will be marked as “IN-PROGRESS”.



Resuming Lessons 6)

Explanation regarding resuming interrupted lessons.

① Click the《Start》button of the interrupted course.

② The course will pop up, and then when a course interruption history is

detected, another button will show up.

Start : Resets the course interruption history and starts the lesson from the beginning.

Resume : Continues the lesson from the interrupted part.



③ There is a check mark next to the finished items when the INDEX is

opened. It is possible to start on the items not yet marked with a check.

Finished items that already have a check mark can still be reviewed

through the INDEX.

5. Tests

Performing confirmation tests 1)

A test is prepared at each section.

Check all the answers before submitting since you can

only proceed to the next section by completing all the

questions.

① Examine the question then choose if it is《True》or《False》.



② After answering, click the《Answers completed》button.

③ If there is no problem with the confirmation test answers, click《OK》.

You can return to check the test again by clicking《Cancel》.

※If there is an unanswered problem, it will be highlighted in red.



④ A 《Next》button will appear if the test is completed, click to proceed onto

the next item.

If failed, review the contents again and retake the exam by clicking the

《Replay》button.

※Confirmation tests has a passing score of 100 points.



Performing completion tests 2)

A completion test is given at course`s end.

Check all the answers before submitting since course can

only be completed at 80% or more.

① Examine the question then choose if it is《True》or《False》.

② After answering, click《Answers completed》to compute the score.

③ After the grade has been computed, click the《Transmit》button.



④ Click the《Ｘ》button to close the window.

※If the test is failed, click the《Home》button, then select the completion

test from the《INDEX》to retake the examination.

If the result of the completion test is a FAIL and the window is

closed without retaking the questions, it will determine that

the items in the lesson are not yet fully understood. Because

of this, all of the check marks will reset and should start from

the beginning.



⑤ When a dialogue box such as illustrated below pops out, click《OK》.

By clicking《OK》, the test results are sent to the server.

⑥ When another dialogue box such as below pops out, click《CLOSE》.

※When《LAUNCH》is clicked, it is possible to continue and reopen the

lesson.

⑦ The result of the training will be displayed. After checking the score, click

《OK》.



⑧ The result on the section taken will be displayed. When the《HINO Logo》

is clicked, it will return to the homepage.

6. Reviewing

How to start the review 1)

Explanation on how to review finished section.

① Click the《Training schedule》located in the homepage`s upper portion.

※It can also be accessed through《Self》⇒《LEARNING》⇒《Training

Schedule》.

② When the《COMPLETED》tab in the Training schedule window is clicked,

the finished section will be displayed.

It is possible to review the sections by clicking the《Review》button on the

section to be reviewed.

※During review, the course starting date, end date, score history cannot

be changed.

7. Settings

Language, time zone settings 1)

Explanation regarding on how to set the language, and

time zones.

① Click the《Self》in the upper-left of the screen, then click《PROFILE

DETAILS》.

② Clicking the《PREFERENCES》tab will change the displayed page.

Select the language and time zone using the pull down box located in the

page.

③ After selecting, click《SAVE》.

Please re-login in order for the changes to take effect.

※ No changes will take effect if not logged out.

Change password 2)

Explanation regarding changing password.

① Click the《Self》in the upper-left of the screen, then click《CHANGE

PASSWORD》.

② Type the current password. Please refer on the required password format

when changing to a new password.

③ Click《CHANGE PASSWORD》to finish the password change.
