*Completion of the course and passing all the Modules along with clearing of the license exam/skill test conducted by DGCA as required vide CAR 66 is the Gateway to become a successful AME . One may Refer CAR 66 to go through Detailed Requirements for obtaining AME License.

Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering offers Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course which is approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India under CAR 147 (Basic). The course is offered in different categories as per CAR 66.

An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is a key person in aviation industry who ensures the safety of Aircraft. As per the Aircraft Act 1934 passed by Indian Parliament, "No aircraft can be released for take-off without obtaining" Certificate of Release to Service" issued by a Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The Certificate of Release to Service is issued after the thorough check-up of all the aircraft parts and its equipments.
