Many people pray on these gods for different reasons. Some woman pray on them to conceive a baby or to be loved. Some men pray on these gods to give them strength to protect their families and to provide shelter and money for them. These gods are considered Gods of different planets.

Inside the temple they have different gods. All of these gods have different meanings.

For example, this lady god on the left represent a teacher that teaches children the

alphabet as well as English and Math problems. People pray on this elephant god to the

right for wealth, money, fortune and shelter

This tree represents donations that people donate to the temple. Some people donate food, clothes and some donate money. For each donation that is made, the people inside the temple pray so they can be blessed with always having money with them, as well as to always maintain and keep a job.

Hindu Desserts

This Hindu dessert is call Jalebi. It is made with Maida flour and yogurt.

This dessert is called Bal Mithai. It is made our of milk and sugar balls

This dessert is called Kozhukkatta. It is made out of Rice flour, Sugar/molasses, Coconut, and Cardamom

This red dot that they are putting on Vanessa is called “Bindi”. They use the color red because red is a traditional Indian color. Traditionally it is a bright dot of red color applied in the center of the forehead close to the eyebrows, but it can also consist of a sign or piece of jewelry.  Bindi can also represent as a symbol of the "third eye" in Hindu Tantric philosophy but most ladies use it mainly as a decoration.
