President’s Message

Dear Devotees,

Hari Om ! A great month with as usual selfless contribution and participation by you all has just passed in a blink. We

together celebrated some of our great events like Devi Jagran, HOM Anniversary and Baisakhi, Pravachan by Didi

Rameshwari Devi Ji.

On this Anniversary month I remember all our key members (pillars) of the HOM. The present HOM is a result of their

hard work and dedication. It is an inspiration to new members to keep the growth of HOM maintained. At the same

time I pray to lord Krishna to give peace to the soul of our key members who have left this world. They will be always

remembered in the history of Hari Om mandir. The celebration of the Mandir Anniversary started with a special

Havan followed with Shanti Path by Pt. Dinesh Kumar and Pt. Raghuvir Dave for the peace of all those who are no

more with us and also seeking strength and blessings for all the members of Hari Om parivar. A beautiful bhajan

program was organised. Many of our past presidents and Chairmen were present along with the present BOT and EB

members. BOT Chairman Ayodhia Salwan spoke about the history of HOM and also mentioned about the roles

played by key members of the society.

We celebrated the Baisakhi with exuberance and gaiety. Shweta Kothari, Malti Sharma, Anshu Paul and other singers

sang Punjabi songs. Baisakhi is the time when the new spring year begins and the harvesting of the rabi crop ends in

various parts of India. The festival is thus filled with enthusiasm, vibrancy and absolute color especially in the northern

and many other parts of India. Farmers thank Mother Nature for the bountiful harvest and together pray for the welfare

and prosperity in the coming year.

I pray to Mata Rani to keep all members of our Hari Om Parivar healthy & happy. With warm regards and services to god and community, Indrajit Sarkar, President, EB
