Thank you for purchasing the Hinari DW002dishwasher.

This dishwasher has been factory tested usingwater. Whilst every effort has been made toremove all the water, some traces may stillremain. This will have no detrimental effecton your dishwasher.

'Inside your dishwasher package you shouldhave:• Dishwasher• Dish rack• Cutlery basket• Detergent measure (inside the cutlery

basket)• Rubber seal (inside the cutlery basket)• User guide

Should any of these items be missing pleasecall the helpline on 020 8787 3111.

The dishwasher can be installed on a flatsurface either:-• On a work surface next to the sink ‘A’• Built into a cabinet without a door ‘B’• Built into a ventilated cabinet with

a door ‘C’

Do not install the dishwasher in a cabinetwithout ventilation as the door must remainopen at the end of the wash cycle and thereleased steam could damage the cabinet.

To ensure the stability of the dishwashersecure it to the wall or rear of the cabinetwith a 6mm screw (not supplied) through thebracket attached to the back of thedishwasher.

Do not turn the dishwasher on its side orupside down at any time duringtransportation or installation.

Your dishwasher is supplied with a 9mm borefill hose fitted with a ¾ inch BSP femaleconnector for connection to a cold/hot watersupply. The water pressure must be between0.5 and 10 bar (50 and 1000 kPa).If the dishwasher is connected to a hot watersupply the water temperature must not exceed65°C.

As the wash cycle requires the water to be at65°C, the cycle time will be reduced ifconnected to a hot water supply. However,

the cold water rinse temperature will nolonger be cold but at the hot watertemperature.

"The water supply can be either a permanentlyplumbed supply, in which case a tap must beincorporated which can completely shut offthe water supply, or from your sink tap.

Permanent plumbing must be carried out byan experienced plumber and must complywith the regulations of your water supplier.

Put the rubber seal into the ¾ inch BSPfemale connector and screw the connector tothe permanent water supply outlet. Do notshorten the fill hose. If it is too long coil it upbehind the dishwasher.

0It is essential, if you are operating from a sinktap, that the tap is in good condition. If not,you may have leakage problems when the tapis turned full on.

To operate from a sink tap you will need a tapadapter with a ¾ inch BSP connection (notsupplied). These are readily available fromDIY suppliers.

Put the rubber seal into the ¾ inch BSPfemale connector and screw the connector tothe tap adapter. Do not shorten the fill hose.If it is too long coil it up behind thedishwasher.

Mixer taps are not suitable for use with yourdishwasher. In this case the dishwasher willhave to be permanently plumbed in.

" 2 Drainage can be:• Into a standpipe ‘A’• To your sink waste pipe ‘B’• Into your sink ‘C’

34+5To allow an airbreak between the dischargehose and the standpipe, the standpipe musthave a diameter of at least 38mm. The heightof the standpipe is dependent on the positionof the dishwasher. No part of the dischargehose can be higher than the top of thedishwasher. The discharge hose can beshortened if required. Make sure the hookedend support is positioned near the end of thehose.

The standpipe should have a trap fitted andmust be connected to the foul or combineddrain from your house but NOT a surfacewater drain. If in doubt ask your plumber orlocal authority.

)3415You can connect the discharge hose to yoursink waste pipe with an adapter (notsupplied). The adaptor fits into the wastepipe and the discharge hose is connected to aT-piece on the adapter. Remove the hooked

end support and cut the discharge pipe to therequired length.

)34/5The discharge hose should be fixed over theedge of the sink. The dishwasher must bepositioned so that the top of the dishwasher ishigher than the discharge hose. The sink must have an outlet pipe of aminimum of 32mm to prevent overfilling thesink.

Always remove the sink plug when using thedishwasher.
