The high-speed HILBA screw jack drive wasspecially developed as a drive in entry assistancesystems for mobile stretchers. The positioningdistance of 2 meters is covered in only 15 secondsand an axial load of 1500N can be moved. Thedrive can be designed with a trapezoidalthreaded spindle or a ball screw drive and isavailable with a 12 or 24V DC or EC motor.
Screw jacks can be adapted to individual requirements.

High quality motors with 24V nominal voltage areused. In addition to a DC motor with brushes, abrushless EC motor can also be used. Themaximum load of 1500N can be achieved withboth motors. Slightly higher positioning speedsare possible with the EC motor.
A ball screw drive and a trapezoidal screw spindleare available for selection. The load capacity of1500N is achieved with both options. With thetrapezoidal thread spindle, the maximumpositioning speed is limited to 5 m/min. Theball screw drive is characterized by its smoothrunning without axial play. Both variants aremaintenance-free after a one-time lubrication.

Optionally, a pillow block bearing as a locatingbearing can be provided.
The motor can be extended with a spring-appliedbrake E90R. This holds the load safely in itsposition. Magnetic and optical incrementalencoders are available for position monitoring.Please note that the the magnetic incrementalencoder ME80-12 cannot be installed on the ECmotor. Encoder and brake can be combined.

During commissioning, the nut is greased with asuitable EP lubricant. During normal use, thetrapezoidal thread spindle is then maintenance-free.
Prior to installation of the ball screw drive, the nutmust be lubricated via the lubrication hole with asuitable lubricant for the respective application.Recommended lubricant: Klüberplex BEM 34-132.Lubricants with graphite or MoS additives must not beused.
