Basic Steps:

Step 1 :

Network Setting in DVR

A Set the DVR IP address in the existing network range.

A Don’t forget to enter the DNS Address.

DNS Settings in DVR

Configure EasyDDNS in DVR

1. Network->Advance Settings-> DDNS

2. Enable DDNS

3. Choose Protocol Type to EasyDDNS

4. Enter the Server Address www.hik-online.com

5. Enter Device Domain Name

Port Forwarding of DVR in the Router

1. Open the Router page

2. Forward the http port (80) and the communication port (8000) of a device to its local IP address.

Some devices also require RTSP port and streaming port be forwarded properly.

3. Check the Current Public IP address and check weather port forwarding is working fine or not.

Step 3:

Then you could access the device directly from an IE web browser by using the URL below, as long as the

device is online.

Step 4 :

Register DVR on HIKVISION DDNS Server (easy DDNS)

1. Open www.hik-online.com

2. Open Internet Explorer In the address bar, type IP address of DDNS Management Server

Http://www.hik−online.com

Login page shown as Figure.

3. Click on Register new user & fill your information -> Ok and then login with same username & password

Step 2) Go to >> Device Management >> Add

Step 3) Provide the Device Name and the Device Serial Number >> let the http port value be ‘0’

if the port ‘80’ was forwarded, do mention the port value if the port was other than ‘80’

Step 4) The Device will be listed on the server

Step 5:

Access device

If the setup has been done successfully, there are two ways to access your device:

1. Login in to DDNS Management System first, then click device name, it will

Automatically link to device login page.

2. Directly type in w w w.hik −on line. com/ Dev ic e Alias name in IE address bar to access

Device

3. Using ivms·4200
