These dedicated models range from the 1CXT - the world’s smallest backhoe loader – to the world’s number one, the JCB 3CX. There’s also the brand new 3CX Compact tool carrier.

We’ve developed powerful patch planers, sweeper collectors and handheld tools for each model. This means you can use one machine for full preparation and permanent repair of potholes.

But fixing potholes only scratches the surface of these machines’ capabilities.

All three are compatible with a huge array of attachments so that they can complete a whole range of other jobs.

1 JCB’s powerful patch planer can plane right up to the kerb. You can also adjust it to the contours of the road from inside the cab, making it easy to prepare potholes perfectly every time.

2 You can use the sweeper collector for clearing away road planings as well as any general sweeping tasks.

3 Choose the extending dipper to increase the working area of the machine. When combined with the multiple available attachments, you can easily complete jobs such as ditching, breaking, and laying kerb stones.

4 Fit the hand-held tool option, to power the tools needed to completely prepare a pothole, without the need for additional plant.

5 The 1CXT is compatible with many skid steer attachments so you can use it for various highway jobs including snow clearing and drainage.

Handheld versatilityThe optional handheld tool circuit offers 20 lpm of hydraulic flow. It’s compatible with Class C tools like disc cutters, water pumps and handheld breakers.

Go anywhereCompact dimensions make your JCB 1CXT ideal for confined city centre sites. It’s 1.8m wide and can work on a 31% gradient, offering excellent access.

The pressure’s off320mm tracks provide phenomenal stability and low ground pressure. You can therefore use your 1CXT in all conditions, whilst leaving minimal ground damage.

Higher performanceThe 1CXT is compatible with skid steer attachments. Long loader arms offer a 2.65m load over height, so you can safely load lorries.

In total controlEasyControl replicates the controls of a mini excavator and a compact tracked loader, making a 1CXT easy and safe to use.

Sweeper collectorThe sweeper collector ensures thorough surface preparation. Its offset design allows work to be carried out in a single carriageway, eliminating disruption to traffic.

Patch planerThe powerful high speed drum cuts clean vertical sides to any planed area. This allows consistent, clean compaction of new tarmac into the prepared area.

Handheld tool circuitThe 9m hose reel provides power to a wide variety of hydraulic tools in a large working radius, and its auto retract system makes it easy to put away after use.

Handheld breakerA HM25 breaker is included. This low vibration model provides an excellent power to weight ratio and comes with an external holster.

Extending dipper10 or 12ft extending dipper reduces the need to reposition the machine, saving valuable time.

1 The high-performance patch planer on the rear of the Pothole Master can plane up to a depth of 115mm with great precision.

2 Use strong downward pressure from the heavy-duty sweeper collector to create a perfectly clear area ready for reinstatement.

3 There’s 6.5m of excavator reach and a large range of attachments available. This means you can complete a huge range of highways tasks, including breaking around street furniture and laying kerbs.

4 An auxiliary tool circuit and a 9m hose reel give you a huge working area. This setup allows you to use handheld tools like breakers, pumps and disc cutters at the same time as the excavator, raising productivity.

5 Be productive in all weathers: from a snow blade on the front to a ditching bucket on the back, you can deal with floods, snow drifts and anything else nature throws at you.

Easy maintenanceDaily checks are completed automatically. The 3CX has an easy-to-lift one-piece bonnet and parts are grouped for single-side servicing, saving you time and effort.

Very versatileThe 3CX can be tailored to a wide range of highways applications. Optional attachments include hydraulic thumbs, compactors, breakers and ditching buckets.

Get the driftClear snow easily with the snow blade; this useful tool allows you to clear snow to whichever side you want. What’s more, the snow blower can fire snow up to 14 metres.

Site to siteWith a 40 km/h top speed, you won’t need lorries to transport your 3CX between jobs at different locations.

THE JCB VMT COMPACTION RANGE OFFERS A HIGHLY VERSATILE PROPOSITION FOR ASSISTANCE WITH WORK IN HIGHWAYS APPLICATIONS. FROM ASSISTING WITH POTHOLE REPAIRS AND GENERAL ROAD MAINTENANCE AND SURFACING TO CREATING FOOTPATHS AND WALKWAYS, THERE IS A JCB TANDEM ROLLER TO SUIT THE NEED.

1 Once the area has been perfectly prepared and material has been laid, the VMT vibratory roller compacts the reinstated ground to the correct density

- leaving a smooth finish and a permanent solution.

2 The VMT160 is available as an 80cm, 90cm or 100cm variant, whilst the VMT260 (being the larger of the two machines) is available with a drum width of 100cm or 120cm.

3 Low fuel consumption and water tanks ranging from 125-230 litre capacity allow for maximum productivity. Operating static linear loads on all VMT’s comply with UK HAUC requirements.

4 The operator has excellent drum visibility without having to strain, and easy access to controls through the ergonomic design.

5 The ability to offset the drums by 65-80mm (model dependant) allows compaction work to be carried out close to kerbs without risk of damage.
