A warm and witty story about frogs, toads, two children and a dog called Mut for very young readers.

The Storm has ended.

Frogs are hopping all over the lawn,

And Alice, Peter, and Mut the dog have come out to play.

They gather up all the frogs they can find,

But why won’t their frogs jump?

And what will Mut do when left in charge of them?

Garnet, the twins from Double Act.

Tina is the smallest of triplets, and her over-protective Mum sees it as her duty to shelter her from the world. But now the girls are moving up to junior school, and their new teacher Miss Loveday is determined not to let Tina be mollycoddled.

Battling her new class partner, Selma (the school bully), Tina comes down with pneumonia. So she doesn’t fall behind, Miss Loveday brings her a book about butterflies for a new project, the start of Tina’s obsession. Once she’s back at school, Miss Loveday enlists Tina and Selma in creating a butterfly garden, and as the two girls work alongside each other week after week, an unlikely friendship develops that changes things for them both and leads to a special ap-pearance on TV...

After Katy’s accident, will life change forever?

Katy lives with sister Clover, Dad, stepmum Izzie, stepsister Elsie and three younger half siblings. She is tall and skinny and harum-scarum and she’s in and out of scrapes as she leads the other kids on adventures, especially in the Secret Garden next door. Katy’s relationship with Izzie and Elsie is tricky - she can’t help feeling resentful of them and often lets it show.

When Katy argues with Izzie, she’s banned from going swimming with the rest of the family. Instead, she sneaks into the Secret Garden to play, and this time Katy’s recklessness gets her into terrible trouble: the tree swing she’s made comes loose and she falls, breaking her back. Now Katy is paralysed from the waist down and for a long time she feels angry and upset, especially with Izzie… How is Katy going to come to terms with her disability? And will she ever feel truly like herself again?

Friendship, phobias and secrets collide in this funny story of modern family life.

Sam likes being a twin. He likes having two mums. He likes cheese sandwiches and his dog and being a secret comic-drawing superhero. He does not like hummus - or heights.

His sister Sammie likes being a twin too. She doesn’t like Emily, who’s stolen her best friend, or secrets. Why is Mum K clearing out the attic? And why can’t anyone else see that she’s obviously, definitely, the Best Twin?

When the school residential trip rolls around, featuring the DEATH SLIDE OF DOOM, there’s no alternative. There’s no way Sam can possibly face that. It’s time for the Sams to come up with a secret plan of their own…

Susie Day grew up by the seaside in Wales and also in London. She has a BA and a Master’s Degree in English Literature from Oxford University and is still aiming at a doctorate. She currently lives in Oxford and is the author of nine novels for children and teens.

Freddie Mole lives with his dad - a washing machine repair man - and his younger siblings. His beloved mum is often away for long periods as she works on ocean-going cruise ships, so life isn’t always easy for Freddie. One day, his dad is called to repair the washing machine at a circus that has come to town and Freddie goes along to help.

Through a stroke of luck, Freddie lands a holiday job cleaning up and helping out at the circus. But before he knows it, he’s invited to join the trapeze artists and finds himself performing in front of a large and appreciative audience. It’s pretty hair-raising, but Freddie does brilliantly. Then, when the lion tamer suddenly leaves the show, Freddie is called in to take his place and before he knows it, he’s Freddie Mole, Lion Tamer extraordinaire!

Love! I am sick of the word. Love is for losers. Love’s just a heap of trouble.

There has been Coco, the gorgeous, vain cat next door. She moved out on a rainy day.

There has been Tamara, the fierce Cat Rights activist.

There has been Scrumpty, the feral, bratty type from the woods.

Then came mild, shy, submissive Mellie. The Killer Cat was bored to death.

Tiger does not believe the Killer Cat when he boldly announces he is done with love for ever. They make a bet: the Killer Cat will have first dibs at Mrs Wetherby’s food bowl for an entire week, if he proves to be able to stay out of love only for a couple of days.

The odds seems to be against Tiger, and the Killer Cat can almost taste his poached-salmon reward…But what happens when all of a sudden the beautiful Coco comes back in town?

A rip-roaring adventure starring a ragtag band of monstrous misfits.

Cabin boy Mel Foster has always been told that he’d come to a bad end – he just never thought it would be as a meal for a giantess from the Arctic wastes! But as Mel is about to find out, looking monstrous doesn’t make you a monster. Eve Frankenstein has no interest in eating Mel – she wants to protect him. And very soon he’ll need as much protection as he can get.

While Eve and Mel become firm friends in the Arctic, back home in London Queen Victoria has become erratic in her behaviour, dismissing her government and disappearing from public view. Rumours circulate that her strange and sinister new butler is hatching a plan to take the reins of power - and only Mel and his tight-knit group of monstrous misfits can stop him…

Egmont will publish the next instalment of Mel Foster’s adventures in 2016.

Julia Golding won the Nestle Children’s Book Prize for her historical adventure, The Diamond of Drury Lane. She has a doctorate in Victorian English literature and has worked as a diplomat and for a leading charity. She is the author of more than thirty books for children and young adults.

The Norse gods are real—and closer than you think.

There’s three things you should know about Buzz…

He hates Friday the 13th.

He thinks myths are just made up rubbish even though he is the son of a mythology professor.

His life is pretty tough at the moment.

(And it’s only going to get tougher now he’s got to save the world…)

It’s not every day you find a famous weather woman bound by magic to a tree deep in the woods. Or discover that the weather woman is Sunna, the Norse Goddess of the Sun and one of the seven day guardians who keep time in order. But that’s exactly what happens to Buzz and his new friend Mary. And with Sunna captured by the Norse God Loki, the world is doomed to repeat the same Saturday forever. Now, Buzz and Mary must embark on a quest through many mythologies to find the magical Runes of Valhalla and rescue the day guardians before Loki plunges the whole world into chaos. . .
