escuela primaria bilingue Hired to establish SSS at CAG high school
in 2009 This year: SSS, Grade 9 Writing
Workshops, Service Learning Coordinator Yoga & meditation teacher
The Current Situation There are 20 to 30 students with special
needs per grade level. 50 students in the high school are
diagnosed with a learning disability. There are many undiagnosed cases who
need to be referred to a doctor for evaluation.

Catch-22 If students are failing, they need to
make an appointment with me. We will develop a plan in which the
student takes ownership with the goal of academic/behavioral improvement.
Un problema Students who are failing typically do not have skills or motivation to take the necessary INITIATIVE.
