High Quality Scart Lead RGB The Mister FPGA Scart lead, is a high quality video lead, that allows you to connect your Mister FPGA with I/O board, to RGB a TV, via the Scart socket, to display a superb full colour picture with Stereo sound. For those who prefer to R R G G B B connect to the TV via the Scart socket, rather than using HDMI video, also present on the Mister FPGA board. This lead is professionally designed and hand made by Ian Priddey, using quality materials and workmanship. Made from high quality overall foil screened thick wall cable, which is also soft and flexible, and fitted with good quality connectors. Plugs into the Mister RGB/YPbPr socket. 3.5mm stereo audio Lead, twin core individually screened cable, Plugs into the Line Out socket on the Mister board. Sends sound to the Scart plug. A 470 RESISTOR IS FITTED TO THE CSYNC SIGNAL ON PIN 20 OF THE SCART PLUG Ω CSYNC SIGNAL (PIN 20 OF SCART PLUG) A resistor is fitted to the CSYNC signal on pin 20 of the Scart plug. 470Ω When the Scart Lead is plugged into the TV’s Scart socket, this attenuates the CSYNC signal to a maximum of about 550mV peak (344mV RMS). This makes the lead fully compliant with Scart specifications.
