Parent/Guardians: I would like for you to practice these words with you child until they have mastered all on this sheet. Once they are able to say each word by sight (in random order) within a couple of seconds, I would like for you to sign the bottom of this page and return it to school. I will then test your child either that day or the following. Upon mastering the test for this list, I will send the next list home to repeat the process (if the student did not show mastery of the list, I will return it to you so that you can see which word(s) he/she did not get correct and you can continue to practice – once it is mastered, you can sign and return for your child to be retested). Some students are capable of a list every few nights and some may take a week or longer, but as long as they are practicing each night they will eventually get it. Please keep these and future sight word flashcards in a baggie at home at all times and work on them each and every night. Thank you for your help!
