10 CONSOLES1 PLATFORM

Why is HOG the fundamentally more advanced platform?Unlike any other console in the market today, HOG’s “abstraction” is engrained in the console’s DNA. This means the HOG speaks your language, for example: degrees of Pan, hertz for Strobe Rate and RPM for Gobo Rotation. This allows for a more intuitive and therefore faster user experience making HOG the best investment today for future lighting control.

Page 3: High End Systems HOG4 Brochure 2016

A HOG for Every Occasion

HOGs come in all sizes, from the top of the line HOG 4 to a variety of powerful and portable

consoles. The range extends to the freely available HOG 4 PC, and includes a full

complement of wings and accessories to meet every need.

The Console That Thinks Like You

HOG’s use of real world values for ALL values means no translation between you and the console. HOG understands degrees, percent, RPM and BPM

so you can program the way you think.

Change Type

Touring means being flexible, and HOG is as adaptable as they come. Your programming is stored in real world units and can control any fixture. Simply program your looks, then Change

Type as needed and HOG takes care of the rest.

Industry Leading Pixel Mapping

HOG’s Pixel Mapping is simply the best. It builds on the power of the Plot, meaning Pixel Map creation is faster and more powerful than ever before. Pixel Maps aren’t confined to tedious grids, allowing total flexibility and can be used in any Cue, with no special control and no need

to dedicate a master. No external hardware or software is needed, simply import your

custom video or image content in ANY format directly into our show and get going right away.

Plotting to Take Control

HOG’s Plot features makes your lighting rig easy to understand and a snap to control. The most powerful plot layout tools on the

market means plot creation just takes minutes, and provides endless

possibilities.

Learn One, Learn Them All

Once you’ve learned to use a HOG, you’ve learned to use ALL HOGs. Every HOG console has the same familiar layout,

syntax, and features. You won’t be left wondering where something is, you’ll be productive no matter what HOG you have.

Control Rates With Ease

Fully configurable master controls put you in charge of chase and effects rates, making better use of your programming and giving you full

control to match the action.

Updates On The Fly

No need to figure out what cue you are editing, HOG does it for you. Start by grabbing controls and let your HOG figure out where to save your changes. Your HOG knows where everything goes, regardless of how many cues you’ve tracked through or how many lists you are running at once.

Unlimited Expansion

Expand via networking to control any show of any size. Scaling up to multiple consoles for concurrent programming by

multiple users, or add more DPs for increased processing power.

Visual Programming

HOG understands gobos and media, including CITP.

Import thumbnails from the fixture library or your

media servers, and display them all in one place.

Consistent Ease of Use

Legendary ease of use will have you up and running well before everyone else. From

patching to programming to playback, everything is quickly accessible and ready

for you to create. Every aspect of the HOG range is designed with a powerful

simplicity in mind, from the front panel layout to every last window.

The Multi-Lingual Console

HOG is fluent in a variety of languages, including MIDI, MSC,

OSC, CITP, DMX, sACN, or ArtNet.

Have It Your Way

User definable Function Keys can link to any part of your programming or show, giving you

fully customizable direct access to everything.
