A collection based on twisted manipulated silhouettes inspired by shadows, combined with a complimentary print based on blurred lights and long exposure. These ideas are represented by the tonal print across the silk and the gradient based two tone dyed sequins. The collection embodies a strong, utility, “throw on” style, each look transforming the figure into a shadow like silhouette. The silhouette has been stretched, abstracted and twisted out of proportion, created by innovative pattern cutting to eliminate seam lines.
