He has practiced law in the fields of government contracts, securities, contracts and negligence. He has also had a successful career in sales, winning a number of awards. He was a fully tenured assistant professor in a community college, teaching micro and macroeconomics, finance and business law, as well as an adjunct professor at a four year university, teaching economics and real estate. Mr. Sagett has also been a major contributor in the development of a positive self-esteem, cooperative behavior paradigm known as H.I.A.D, an acronym for Human Inter-Active Dynamics, which is the subject of publication filed with the Library of Congress and is explored as TURNINGSTONEchoice.com on the internet. The paradigm takes issue with the idea of competition forming a basis for developing positive self -esteem, provides a basis for a competitive model being responsible for bullying, prejudicing and other social issues. The paradigm and associated ideas provide the only basis and method for learning positive self-esteem through self- actualized choice making, resulting in a congruency of positive good health behaviors, positive self-esteem, self- empowering choice making, cooperative behaviors and the recognition of a mutuality of self-empowering choice making. Its underlying basis is the recognition of the primary human need to be in control of our living and the illusory nature of much of our choices in attempting to meet this need.
