Program Overview

HID Advantage Partner Program participants are eligible to receive a variety of sales, marketing and support benefits. Program requirements and benefits are structured to complement different partner types and business models.

Program Categories

The HID Advantage Partner Program has three program categories. Categories are based on route-to-market and targeted customer segments. Partners can qualify to participate in multiple program categories.

1. Physical Access Control – includes partners who offer Genuine HID; cards, readers, controllers and programmers for physical access control

2. Secure Issuance – includes partners who offer HID Global FARGO® printers and other secure issuance solutions

3. Identity Assurance – includes partners who offer Genuine HID authentication and remote access solutions such as two factor authentication access to computers, networks and remote login

The HID Advantage Partner Program is designed to support the following partner types:

¡ Integrators – provide design, installation, integration and maintenance services; these partners sell directly to end-users

¡ Distributors – resell and support Genuine HID products and solutions; these partners include traditional security systems distributors and sell directly to Integrators

¡ OEMs – include component-purchasing OEMs and OEMs reselling HID embedded technology and finished goods, these partners build and sell their own branded hardware/software

¡ Indirect Partners – provide design, installation, integration and maintenance services directly to end-users; these partners’ primary relationships are with HID Global distributors or OEMs

Partner Tiers

HID Global offers a tiered program structure with requirements and benefits that increase with partner revenue contributions, marketing commitments and technical expertise.

¡ Silver – the entry level tier to the HID Advantage Partner Program. Benefits are designed to help partners develop successful business practices and build sustainable customer engagement models. Partners at the Silver tier are required to meet minimum requirements to establish and maintain program affiliation.

¡ Gold – comprises of partners who have demonstrated significant industry expertise and dedicated substantial resources to promote and sell HID Global’s solutions. Gold partners have defined go-to-market strategies and are aligned to expand into new markets. Additional benefits are available to Gold partners in recognition of the commitment they have demonstrated to HID Global.

¡ Platinum – the highest achievement tier within the HID Advantage Partner Program. Partners at this tier have demonstrated proven track records and strong business synergies with HID Global. Platinum partners meet the program’s highest standards and are rewarded with premier benefits and resources.
