Accident and Health Insurance for oarding tudents
All oarding students at TAI have mandator wiss accident and health insurance coverage. The
premiums for this insurance are included in the school fees. This polic starts on the �rst da of the
Academic Year and terminates on the last da of the Academic Year. The polic guarantees asic
medical care for accident and health in witzerland, and emergenc care outside of witzerland up to
doule the cost of the equivalent care in witzerland.
This polic does NOT cover:
�rst-class hospital rooms (standard room care is excellent in witzerland)
continuing medical treatment outside of witzerland
treatment after the student has left TAI or during the summer months
repatriation to the student’s home residence

There is a mandator deductile of CHF 600 per student per calendar ear. The �rst ear a student
attends TAI, a deductile of CHF 600 will e charged for the period of eptemer to Decemer.
Another deductile of CHF 600 will e charged in Januar for that calendar ear. (If the student is over
18 ears of age, this deductile increases to CHF 2,500 per calendar ear.)
TAI is not liale or responsile for an medical costs that are not covered the wiss insurance.
Therefore, TAI strongl recommends that our parents also provide ou with international,
comprehensive accident and medical insurance coverage, including repatriation, for the duration of the
Academic Year.
Doctors and hospitals mainl send their ills directl to the wiss Health Insurance Compan. In order
to avoid delas, TAI pas all ills directl to the Insurance Compan. We then ill parents for these
medical costs, attaching a cop of the Insurance tatement. Parents need to pa TAI for these costs.
An reimursement will e credited to the student account.
An oarding students alread covered a wiss Health Insurance must provide a cop of their
insurance certi�cate, which should e sent to the TAI usiness O�ce, Attn. Giulia Gioio.
Accident and Health Insurance for Da tudents
Da students are not covered the TAI Accident and Health Insurance.
Da students living in witzerland must provide a cop of their wiss health insurance certi�cate and
liailit insurance (Responsailita’ Civile). Da students living in Ital must provide the form showing
their entitlement to medical assistance aroad, which can e otained from the Italian O�ce of Pulic
Health (AL). hould the occasion arise of a da student eing a resident in an other countr, each
case will e considered separatel.
