    EXT: STREET: DAYThe screen fades from a black screen to a series of

    wide angle cuts of London streets.INT: DEXTER'S ESTATE: DAY

    We see wide-shot of A walking up to Dexter's estate.

    Dialogue ensues about A searching for a newer, strongerhallucinogenic. The atmosphere is cold and distant

    between the two characters. Dexter provides A with an

    acid tab call Mad Hatter (M.H.). Dexter's speech is

    menacing and superficially warm.

    [This attracts the audiences attention as Dexter is

    seen as a morally dubious character. Can A trust him?

    Can we trust him?][The opening scene is cold, sparse and distant.Dexter's apartment is neat and tidy. The characters are

    visibly seen but are proximally set at a moderate

    distance, expressing this is a purely business

    transaction and there are no personal ties between

    them. This communicates to the audience the video, is

    like a psychedelic thriller, due to the alienating

    aspect of the character's relationships and use of

    drugs]

    INSERT: OUT-STRETCHED HAND WITH ACID TAB.

    We see a long, close-up of the acid tab, with a note

    "follow the white rabbit" attached being handed to A.[This engages the audience's sympathy. Poor girl hooked

    on drugs gets a new, dangerous hallucinogenic. What

    happens to her when she takes the drug? Will something

    disastrous happen? Is Dexter exploiting and

    manipulating her for personal gain and putting her in

    harms way.]INSERT: CLOSE-UP OF A TAKING DRUG FOLLOWED BY BLACK

    SCREEN.EXT: REGENT STREET BUS STOP: DAYA is sitting at a bus stop. There seems to be no

    discernible visual effects on A. We hear traffic

    loudly. We also hear snippets of conversation - a

    hubbub. This creates a sense of mystery. Her senses are

    heightened - has she begun hallucinating?

    Suddenly, her ankle rollsINSERT: SEQUENCE OF COSMOS, CELLS, BIRTH OF LIFE[These images appear in short cuts, creating a brief

    sense of claustrophobia and elevating the audience on

    the same level as A. They are now experiencing the

    hallucination too]INSERT: BLACK SCREENEXT: ELMERS END WOODLANDS: DAY/EVENINGA lands at a dinner table in a woodlands, greeted by a

    group of woodland animals and the white rabbit and an

    unknown boy (Brandon, A's ex-boyfriend). A at first

    startled, spots the white rabbit she's meant to follow.

    At this juncture the white rabbit and A make eye

    contact, to where the rabbit darts off in the direction

    behind her into the woods.[Brandon is unmentioned leading up to this scene. It is

    up to the audience and figure out the relationship

    between the two. We do not belittle the audience's

    intelligence]A now chases after the rabbit to which Brandon watches

    momentarily, before leaving earnestly to track down A.

    As the figure of the rabbit turns into a silhouette

    running into vast obscurity of the woodlands, Brandoncatches up to A where both stop briefly and exchange

    dialogue. After the conversation both continue to run

    onwards into the fog of the woodlands.INT: CLAPHAM JUNCTION TUBE STATIONThe rabbit arrives first in the tube station, running

    through the passages, to which A and Brandon shortly

    follow. In the midst of their tracks, Brandon grabs the

    arm of A bringing him towards her, where he details his

    absence and reconcile their relationship.During the reconciliation, A spots the rabbit in the

    corner of her eye and proceeds to chase after the

    rabbit alone. We see blood portrude from her lips, and

    noticing this she stops dead, before her sudden faint.INERT: CUT TO BLACK[We end the video on a cliffhanger, with unanswered

    questions - has A. left the hallucination? Has she

    overdosed?]
