AM 2016

GRIPS Grips are the first part of the bike the rider touches in the shop. The grip is also the first part of the bicycle which is in direct contact with the cyclist, after comes the saddle and the pedals. HERRMANS® has a long tradition of manufacturing grips and emphasizes quality, design, ergonomics, comfort and safety. Besides fulfilling all European regulations the HERRMANS® grips are all PAH, LATEX, Phtahalate and Natural Rubber-free.

HERRMANS® offers City & Trekking grips from the Comfort range and MTB grips from the Attaque range. The basic economic range is Single Density (SD) grips. For increased comfort and performance we offer the Dual Density (DD) grips. There are also adjustable versions of the grips. Finally, HERRMANS® has introduced a Triple Density (3D) range with the Gribbo grip family. The Gribbo Endorfin and Adrenalin grips are adjustable and feature the HERRMANS® new Feather Technology (F-Tech) which gives a feather-like pressure distribution - maximizing shock absorption.

REFLECTORS Visibility enhances safety. Traffic moves fast – also in the dark. At night a cyclist is as dark as the brick wall by the road. When riding your bicycle at dusk or after dark, reflectors are priority number one - to be seen by cars and trucks on the road. HERRMANS® is the leading reflector manufacturer in Europe. Specializing in producing reflectors approved according to the many different European homologations, even the demanding E IV A. The product range covers spoke reflectors, front reflectors and rear reflectors.

Front reflectors are available in different versions to cover all European countries. All front reflector models offered are approved in all European countries.

Rear reflectors are available in different versions to cover all European countries. All rear reflector models offered are approved in all European countries. Please bear in mind that in Germany, Switzerland and Austria two rear reflectors are required.

Spoke reflectors are available in different versions to cover all European countries. ER-11 Yellow covers all Nordic countries, Benelux and France plus southern Europe. ER-11 Clear covers the United Kingdom. ER-8P covers Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Holland, Denmark and Norway plus southern Europe. Please bear in mind that in Germany, Switzerland and Austria two spoke reflectors per wheel are required.

CHAIN GUARDSChain guards have been in the product portfolio of HERRMANS® for over 30 years and we have worked with injection molding even longer. This has given us extensive experience concerning material characteristics, quality, production techniques and design. The chain guards not only fulfil a practical function, they are also a key design element of the bicycle. Light in weight, sporty, adjustable, modern or classic - HERRMANS® chain guard range fits various bikes and crank sets. We continuously develop and expand our range and the chain guards are available in several colour combinations.

The chain guards are made of durable and flexible reinforced plastic – made to last in warm summers in southern Europe and in cold winters in Scandinavia. The plastic is also UV-resistant. Chain guards are available for 33, 38, 42-44 and 48 teeth chain wheels as well as for single and triple chain wheels. Versions are also available with an opening for Front Derailleur. The latest chain guard family – Slyde – is adjustable with a range of 325-440 mm.

RIM TAPESHERRMANS® is the leading European rim tape manufacturer. In the HERRMANS® range you can find rim tapes suitable for all types of spoke wheels – bicycle, motorcycle and moped - fulfilling several pressure requirement levels. We supply three different materials for rim tapes for different pressure requirements. HPM (blue) made out of PVC has been developed for double wall rims with a max. pressure of 6 bars or 87 psi. The HPS (yellow) made out of polyurethane is extremely light and can stand a max. pressure of 8 bars or 116 psi. Finally, the HPR (red) from a base of polypropylene combines strength and flexibility with a max. pressure of 10 bars or 145 psi. The recommended high-end choice for road-racing and MTB.

Rim tapes are available with Presta 7 mm valve hole (also known as Sclaverand or French valve) or with Schrader 9 mm valve hole (also known as American valve). The rim tape formulas are constantly being improved - for instance, the HPM rim tape offers 60 % improved pinch resistance, i.e. against spokes.
