Herrenknecht EPB 2800 TBM (YOB 2012) for Sale
G E N E R A L
This Machine, besides others, was bought by Wayss & Freytag Ingenieuerbau AG in Germany for a larger scale sewage project in Germany, the so called “Emscher Project”.
The machine was manufactured End of 2012 and put into operation in 2013. Until 2015 the machine bored 6,640m of tunnel in the Emscher project. After this it was used in 2018 in another project in Berlin where it got an Upsizing kit to 4.435mm and bored another 612m before it was cleaned and stored in a facility near Berlin, Germany where it can be inspected after appointment.
Due to the excellent service and maintenance schemes that Wayss & Freytag have implemented the equipment is in very good condition.
A full documentation about maintenance activities and repairs can be made available to the potential buyer

2 DESCRIPTION
Herrenknecht's tunnel boring machine M-1.729 -EPP 2.800AB is a pipe jacking machine for EPP mode
with cone crusher system.
The offered tunnel boring machine consists of the following main components:
Basic machine for VT pipes DA3600
- Mixed soil drilling head (MiBo) DA 3081 with used excavation tools
- Shield DA 2.525
- Machine pipe 1 DA 2.520
- Machine pipe 2 DA2515
- Airlock DA 2410
Doubling for VT pipes DA 4500
- Mixed soil drilling head DA 3081 with used mining tools
- Doubling up shield DA 3.025
- Doubling machine pipe 1 DA 3.020
- doubling machine pipe 2 DA 3.015
- Doubling of sluice pipe consisting of 2 steel pipes DA3000
The jacking plant is offered in doubled condition. The jacking plant is cleaned and prepared for transport
before delivery. The jacking plant is not overhauled or tested and is sold as seen.
The jacking plant was overhauled after completion of the jacking work of the BA30 construction site in
winter 2015/16. In 2016, it was then driven on our construction site in Leverkusen for approx. 480 m with
an outer diameter of 3.00 m VT pipe. Afterwards, it was stored at our storage yard in Ludwigsfelde from
mid-2016.
