Thedifferenttypesofherpes
The herpes virus has been around as long as humans have. No wonder that its name comes from the
Greek word “herpein” which can be translated as “to crawl” or “to creep”. The ancient Greeks have
documented several cases, which proves that the virus was rampant even in their times.
While most people use “herpes” as the name of an individual virus it’s actually used for an entire strain
which comprises of more than 80 different viruses. Fortunately, only 10% of them attack humans.
Humanherpestype1
The most common is the herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV‐1) which only affects the mouth and lips. Common
signs are blisters around the mouth, often called fever blisters or cold sores.
There are rare cases in which blisters also appear in the genital region. This is triggered by contact with
an infected person during sexual activities.
Type 1 herpes usually spreads from skin‐to‐skin contact with an infected person. You can also catch it if
you share household object such as razors, towels or eating utensils if the other person using it has a
active lesion.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page6
Humanherpestype2
Herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV‐2) affects mostly the genital region although there are cases in which sores
appear above the waist. The virus is usually transmitted through sexual contact. It does not survive
outside the body more than a couple of minutes. The virus can survive within a drop of urine, which is
why you should sanitize a toilet seat prior to use.
HSV‐1 and HSV‐2 appear identical under a microscope which is why laboratory testing is required to
differ between the two.

Humanherpestype5
Type 5 herpes is also known as the cytomegalovirus (from the Greek words cyto=cell and mega=large).
As all other herpes viruses it has the ability to hide inside the human body for long periods and cause a
breakout months or even years after the initial infection.
As long as your immune system is healthy the herpes virus does not attack the body. With people who
suffer from a compromised immune system (such as HIV/AIDS), its effects can range from diarrhea and
infections of the stomach/intestines. Additional symptoms include severe vision problems, blindness
and even death
The virus is transmitted through blood transfusions, organ transplants or sexual contact.
Humanherpestype6
Type 6 herpes is a rare form of herpes which causes skin rashes and high fever. Its victims are usually
infants but it has also been found in patients with neuro‐inflammatory diseases such as multiple
sclerosis.
It is estimated that up to 20% of infant emergency room visits for fever in the US are caused by the
herpes virus.
Humanherpestype7
Type 7 has been discovered quite recently and is closely related to type 6 herpes. It can also cause a skin
rash as well as vomiting, fever and diarrhea.
No treatment for this specific strain has been devised simply due to the fact that there is not any clinical
benefit.

Humanherpestype8
Type 8 herpes is very rare and was discovered in a tumor of an AIDS patient. It was a special sort of
tumor called Kaposi’s Sarcoma and almost all people who suffer from this sort of tumor are AIDS victims.
It is considered very hard to treat and it is suspected to cause various other forms of cancer.

Prevalenceandreoccurrenceofherpes
It is estimated that almost 99% of adults in Western countries are infected by at least one form of
herpes.
In Europe there are large differences in how prevalent the virus is in the population. If we take HSV‐1
infection as an example it is estimated that 84% of the people in Bulgaria and 52% of the citizens of
Finland carry the virus. For the United States this number hovers around 58%.
With HSV‐2 the virus is again most prevalent in Bulgaria with 24% and least common in England with
only 4%. In Northern America there is a big difference between the number of men and the number of
women who carry the virus. Almost twice as many women (20.9%) than men (11.5%) carry the virus.
There are also considerable interracial differences with people of color being more than 3 times as likely
to be infected ‐ 39.2% compared to 12.3%.
If you suffer from a cold sore once your risk of it returning lies between 20 – 40%. With HSV‐2 the risk is
more than twice as high, between 60‐90%.
The following graphic from the Center of Disease Control and Prevention shows how your risk of
catching type 2 herpes increases with the number of sex partners.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page11
InfectionwithHSV‐2
The most common way in which people catch herpes is by having sex with someone who’s already
infected. It should be noted that you can only get infected by this person if he or she currently suffers
from an outbreak.
Most people that experience an outbreak suffer from sores located in the genital area – which is a clear
sign of the virus.
There are rare cases in which the person which is infected has an outbreak without any visible signs.
These people often don’t even know they suffer from the virus and thus pose a severe threat to others
since they don’t take the necessary precautions to protect their partners.
The virus can get transmitted not only by genital contact but also during oral sex.
In extremely rare cases people got infected by touching objects which carried the virus such as a hot tub
or toilet seat.

Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page12
HerpesSymptoms
What makes it difficult for people to recognize that they suffer from herpes is the fact that the
symptoms can differ from person to person. There are even cases in which no outside symptoms are
visible making self‐diagnosis impossible.
Usually the first symptoms show up 48 hours or up to 2 weeks after the infection. This initial outbreak
lasts about 2‐3 weeks.
The common genital herpes appears in 5 distinct stages:
1. Typical symptoms for stage one are:
Feeling of pressure in the abdomen
Pain in legs, buttocks or genital area
Itching or burning feeling in anal or genital area
2. In the second stage bumps appear close to the entry point of the virus. This can be the penis,
the vagina or the mouth. The bumps might not be visible on inspection since they can appear
inside the vagina or on the cervix in women or on the urinary passage in both women and men.
3. In the third stage the bumps turn into blisters
4. In the fourth stage the blisters open up to become painful sores
5. The fifth and final stage is marked by the sores becoming crusty and healing without causing
scar tissue to form.
Along these stages the following symptoms can appear:
Muscle aches
Difficult or painful urination
Headaches
Fever
Swollen glands in the groin area
Vaginal discharge

Step1‐StrengtheningYourImmuneSystem
The most important step to strengthen your immune system is to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Here are the
9 most important steps which will help you to achieve this:
1.Stopsmoking
Smoking depresses antibodies and cells which serve at protecting your body against viruses and other
invaders. It has been proven that smokers get sick more often with respiratory diseases being especially
common.
Chemicals – such as carbon monoxide ‐ enter the body through the cigarette smoke and interfere with
oxygen levels. It is this lack of oxygen which irritates not only your lung but other organs as well. What’s
even worse is that scientists from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio proved that smoking can lead to
your immune system attacking lung tissue. The cigarette smoke damages the lung tissue which causes
the cells to signal to the immune system that they need to be destroyed.

2.Eatadiethighinfruitsandvegetablesandavoidsaturatedfat
Vegetables – in particular Romaine lettuce – are high in vitamin B1, B2
and C as well as folate. As stated by the University of Maryland Medical
Center vitamin B1 – also known as thiamine – has been called an "anti‐
stress" vitamin. Not only does it improve the body’s ability to withstand
stress but it also strengthens the immune system.
Vitamin B2 – also known as riboflavin –is used by the body to accelerate
the healing of injuries and to keep existing tissue healthy. Furthermore, it
plays an essential role in red blood cell production. Your red blood cells
transport oxygen through your body.
It strengthens your immune system by reinforcing your body’s reserve of antibodies guarding you
against infections.
Vitamin C is the most important vitamin when boosting your immune system. It works in five ways:
1. Increases the number of white blood cells in your body
2. Increases the number of antibodies
3. Increases the number of interferon
4. Stimulates the activity of neutrophils and phagocytes, both important parts of your immune
system
5. Builds up collagen, the first line of defense against foreign invaders. If your collagen layers
are strong neither viruses nor bacteria can enter your body
The University of Alberta showed that an increase in folate consumption triggers an increase in T‐cells.
T‐cells are a subset of lymphocytes, a kind of white blood cell in the vertebrate immune system.
An important mineral to support your immune system is zinc. Good sources of zinc are raw crimini
mushrooms, lamb, collard greens, squash and calf liver.
It is not recommended to supplement with zinc since an excess of this mineral can destroy macrophages
and neutrophilis which both protect your body by consuming harmful foreign particles, bacteria, and
dead or dying cells.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page15
3.Exerciseonaregularbasis
Here’s an interesting statistic: People who don’t work out take twice as many sick days as those who do.
It’s no surprise that doctors confirm that exercise can strengthen your immune system. Sports in
particular help the cells thrive, which attack bacteria. While it is not yet 100% clear how this feat is
achieved experiments have shown that these killer cells work faster if the person engages in physical
activity on a regular basis. While this boost only lasts for a couple of hours after you finish your workout,
the effect is still sufficient to keep you healthier than the next person who avoids sports altogether.
You don’t need to go to excessive length to benefit from this effect. Just half an hour a day of movement
or 3 visits at the gym each week are sufficient. In fact, it is even better if you don’t overdo it. If you stress
your body too much with physical exercise it can result in a weakening of your immune system.
Listen to your body and always give it enough rest. Take time off if you feel weak or rundown.
4.Keepyourweightwithinhealthyparameters
The problem with excess weight is that it causes your body to remain in a state of chronic systemic
inflammation. Fat contains many glands which secrete hormones into your
blood stream. Some of these hormones stimulate white blood cells. These
in turn create inflammatory molecules. Usually inflammatory molecules are
only released in case of an infection or an injury. Your body can not
differentiate between the different causation resulting in it being in a
constant state of alert.
It has been shown that people who carry excess weight have more white
blood cells in their organism and the number of circulating immune cells is
higher in their body. What sounds like a benefit actually is not. The over‐stimulation of the immune
system causes it to get side tracked and no longer focus exclusively on fighting foreign invaders such as
bacteria and viruses.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page16
A study by the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Australia tested how the immune system would
respond to a weight reduction. The participants of the study lost an average of 13.5% of their body
weight in a period of 24 weeks. This weight loss resulted in an 80% decrease of T‐cells which play a
central role in cell‐mediated immunity.
If you are currently overweight this study suggests that the negative effects this weight causes can easily
be reversed by following a diet. Your body will show an improved resistance against virus and bacterial
infections and the risk of chronic diseases gets lowered.
5.Avoidalcoholorkeepitataminimum
Frequent alcohol consumption handicaps your immune system in two ways.
First, it can lead to a reduction in the number of white blood cells. It does
this by blocking vital nutrients to reach your immune system thus starving
off the production of white blood cells. The fewer white blood cells there
are the more prone you are to infections.
Second, it causes red blood cells to clump together and to clog smaller
blood vessels. Due to these blockages less oxygen reaches your organs.
This lack of oxygen deprives not only your organs but also your immune
system of its peak efficiency.
It is best to restrict your alcohol consumption to two drinks a day for men
and one drink for women. It’s best to stick to beer and wine since both
contain polyphenol, a substance which can benefit the immune system, according to an article in the
British Journal of Nutrition.

6.Trytogetatleast8hoursofsleepeachnight
A study done by Sheldon Cohen, PhD, William J. Doyle, PhD, Cuneyt M. Alper, MD, Denise Janicki‐
Deverts, PhD, and Ronald B. Turner, MD tried to prove that people who sleep less are more susceptible
to disease. The 153 participants of the study were infected with the rhinovirus which is known to cause
a cold. Then they were split up into different groups with each group sleeping for a different length of
time. The result: participants that slept less than seven hours were 300% more likely to catch a cold
from the virus than those who slept for 8‐9 hours.
The more deep sleep your get the more your immune system gets stimulated and energized. The
National Institute of Health recommends sleeping between 7 to 8 hours each night. Please note that this
is an average and there are exceptions. Some people cope fine with just 5 hours of sleep while others
need no less than 10.
The best way to assure that your get sufficient sleep is to avoid tobacco, caffeine, decongestants and
alcohol. While alcohol can help you to fall asleep it prevents you from entering REM or deep sleep which
helps you the most in restoring your health.

7.Washyourhandsregularly
While most of us have been told to wash their hands regularly the habit stuck with few. In a survey
among 3,000 US and Canadian adults 25% don’t wash their hands after sneezing or coughing and a
whopping 60% sometimes skips the soap.
Some of these people might rethink their hand‐washing habits if they’d be familiar with this statistic:
roughly 80% of all infectious diseases are transmitted by touch.
In a military study recruits were encouraged to wash their hands at least 5 times a day. The result:
Respiratory ailments such as coughing got reduced by 45%.
Even if you haven’t touched a person you can still have gotten in touch with viruses. Dr. John Shufeldt,
an Arizona ER physician explains that germs can survive up to several weeks on inanimate objects such
as keyboards or doorknobs. If you touch them they rub off on your hand and if you touch your face they
may enter your body.
The best way to beat these germs is effective hand washing. Use an alcohol‐based sanitizer, wash for at
least a minute and don’t touch your face before you’re done washing.

8.Avoideatingmoldingfood
Studies from the University Leads ‐ which have later been confirmed by the University of Alabama at
Birmingham confirm that exposure to molding food can lower your immunity.
There is a wide variety of different molds which can harm your immune system in many different ways.
Some kill your white bloods cells while others just render them useless.
The main problem with mold in our food is that we do not notice it. Manufacturers are adding so much
artificial flavorings to the food that our taste buds are no longer able to discern the “off” flavor we
would normally taste.
Take our bread as an example. The industry is adding calcium propionate or vinegar to inhibit molding
which could be an effective measure. However the bread is then packaged in plastic bags to preserve its
freshness and keep it from drying out. The plastic not only keeps the bread fresh but also acts as an
incubator for mold spores. Much like the greenhouse effect, it provides perfect temperature for the
mold to grow and overwhelm any inhibitory measures.
It is the grain used in the production of bread and other cereal products that brings the spores to our
food. It has even been estimated that the climate change favors the growth of mold since the fungus is
thriving on warm temperatures.
The Ultimate Herpes Protocol thus advises you to resign from eating food that is commonly
contaminated with mold. Here’s a list of the foods you should avoid:
Cookies
Bread
Cereal
Crackers
Rice
Other grains
Store bought fruit juice
Pasta
Syrups
Nuts
If you have been eating a lot of the foods in the list above it is probably best to give your immune system
a break to fight off the mold. I have included a simple 24 hours diet which is guaranteed to be mold free.
Again, you only need to stick to this diet for a day and be more conscious of the foods you eat
afterwards.

9.Getridofanyamalgamfillings
As the Linköping University in Sweden stated in a study done in 1995, “Dental amalgam fillings are the
most important sources of mercury exposure in the general population.” Even the FDA confirmed in
2008 that “Dental amalgams contain mercury, which may have neurotoxic effects on the nervous
system.”
Studies from the Department of Environmental Health Sciences as well as the John Hopkins Bloomberg
School of Public Health have both proven that “Low concentration of … (mercury) affects immune
function in human cells … with the potential to influence diverse health outcomes such as susceptibility
to infectious disease or risk of autoimmunity. ”
Why would you leave your amalgam fillings in place and continue to compromise your immune system
when there are much better alternatives such as
ceramic
composites
zirconium

Step2–Dissolvingthevirus’protectiveproteincoat
We will deliver the main blow to the virus with a double‐treatment which not only dissolves the virus
protective protein coat but also destroys the virus itself. In order to achieve this we rely on two
substances which have proven themselves in scientific studies.
The first substance is dimethyl sulfoxide, also known as DMSO. This colorless liquid is known for its
ability to penetrate human skin without damaging it like nothing else. It has thus been widely used as a
vehicle for topical application of pharmaceuticals.
What is less known is what a joint study of the University of California (Irvine) and the University of
Edinburgh revealed: DMSO is effective in stopping the growth of the herpes virus.
Additional research done by Morton Walker, MD revealed that DMSO also holds the power to dissolve
the protective protein coat of the herpes virus while leaving healthy cells completely unharmed. This
leaves the core of the virus unprotected against the attacks of your strengthened immune system.
Experiments have proven that DMSO is seven times less toxic than aspirin making it one of the safest
substances available today.
The Ultimate Herpes Protocol uses both properties of DMSO by combining it with a substance which has
proven to inactivate the herpes virus by lipid peroxidation which damages the lipid envelope and protein
shell of the virus. This was proven in a study by Brighton Young University in 2008. This substance is
hydrogen peroxide.
Hydrogen peroxide, with its chemical abbreviation H2O2 consists of two atoms of pure oxygen and 2
atoms of hydrogen (water). You’ve probably heard of it before as a bleaching agent. However the form
we’ll be using here is food grade H2O2 which is a much safer form for humans. In fact your body’s own
cells produce H2O2 as a front‐line defense against bacteria, viruses, parasites and other infective
microorganisms—attacking them with an oxidative because viruses, unlike human cells, can not survive
in an oxygen rich environment.
You see, what makes hydrogen peroxide so interesting is its unstable nature. It has the tendency to
dissolve into its components water and pure oxygen – a process triggered by the enzyme “catalase”. It
flushes your body with oxygen and oxidizes the herpes virus.
Some natural healing practitioners advise their patients to swallow hydrogen peroxide. The Ultimate
Herpes Protocol follows a safer route. We will harness to power of DMSO to transport the H2O2 into
your body and directly target the hiding place of the herpes virus.

Yourtreatment
In order to start your treatment you need a small bottle of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and a jar
of DMSO cream with aloe vera. Since some people experience an unpleasant garlic taste when using
DMSO cream so it is sometimes best to get one which is scented.
The 35% food‐grade hydrogen peroxide is too concentrated to be used this way. We will dilute it in pure
water (use tap water only if you are sure it’s not “fortified” with fluoride) to get an increasingly more
potent mixture. The reason we’re not using the 3% H2O2 is because:
a) it is full of additional chemicals which you neither need nor want
b) it costs almost 10 times as much
One bottle of food‐grade hydrogen peroxide costs as little as $10 and will last you for your entire
treatment. You will dilute it in an 8oz / 300ml spray bottle using the following dosage:

After you have prepared the H2O2 solution you will apply it onto your skin. Spray it on your hips and
lower back if you are suffering from type‐2 genital herpes and spray it on the back of your neck if you
are suffering from type‐1 herpes.
Important: Do not spray the hydrogen peroxide on your skin before you properly cleaned yourself.
This is why the procedure is best done after you finished showering. The DMSO we’ll apply next will
carry anything it comes in contact with under your skin and we need to make sure no other
substances linger on your skin. I repeat: Make sure your skin is clean as well as dry.
The herpes virus hides inside the nerve cells of your spine to escape your vigilant immune system. The
only way to reach it there is with the power of DMSO.
Now after you’ve sprayed all of the hydrogen peroxide solution on the target areas and rubbed it in you
use your DMSO cream. Again, rub it in thoroughly. Every time you apply the DMSO you will feel a
tingling sensation. It is a sign that the H2O2 is carried under your skin is destroying the herpes virus. The
longer you continue your treatment the more the tingle sensation will diminish. This is a sign that the
virus is disappearing. The entire process should take you only about 10‐15 minutes.

Step3–Stopthevirusfrommakingcopiesofitself
One of the factors that make herpes so hard to fight is the rate at which the
virus is able to make copies of itself. In a study the University of Washington
found that a single HSV‐2 virus spreads to thousands of cells in less than 12
hours, all by invading these cells with countless copies.
One of the essential building blocks herpes uses for its replication is an amino
acid called Arginine. For this reason you should avoid any food that contains a
high content of Arginine since you are basically feeding the virus with it. For
your convenience I’ve included a list of the top 10 foods that are rich in
Arginine and that you should thus avoid:
1. Sea food
2. Sesame flour
3. Soy
4. Cotton seed
5. Peanuts
6. Spinach
7. Turkey
8. Sunflower seeds
9. Seaweed
10. Game meat
Now you could just avoid these foods and you’d already be doing a pretty good job at starving the
herpes virus. However this approach can be improved greatly with the next bit of knowledge.
There is an amino acid which directly competes with arginine. This means the more of the amino acid
you consume the more arginine gets pushed out of your body and cells. This is the most effective way to
stop the virus from making copies of itself. This amine acid is called Lysine.
In a study by the Wishard Memorial Hospital, the University Hospital of the Indiana University School of
Medicine and the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences 45 herpes patients received between 312 and
1,200 mg of lysine per day for 2 – 36 months. They were also told to avoid food that is rich in arginine.
All of them noted a significant reduction in their number of recurrences.
Several other studies confirmed these promising results. The studies also hinted at the fact that the
effectiveness of the treatment greatly varies according to the dosage of lysine taken. The studies
showed dosages of 500 – 3,000mg daily to be effective.
My father’s experience was that his patients saw results starting at a dose of about 1,250mg a day. Note
that the dose differs from person to person. It is thus best to start with the lower dosage of 1,250
mg/day and increase it from there until you see results.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page27
A word of caution here: While lysine does not come with any side effects high dosages can be harsh for
your stomach. The FDA recommends a maximum dosage of 100mg per kg of bodyweight (0.0016 oz per
pound of bodyweight). This is definitely a very high dosage and the Ultimate Herpes Protocol advises
patients not to exceed 3,000 mg/day.
You can adapt your intake by taking 625mg tablets. Once you experience an upset stomach you should
reduce the dosage.
Supplementing with lysine hardly breaks the bank. A pill can be bought for as little as $0.03. Even better,
you can increase your lysine intake by eating certain lysine‐rich food e.g. animal protein and legumes
and avoid refined sugar and grains. It is best if these foods are neither cooked nor processed since it can
destroy the lysine or make it impossible for the body to absorb it. If cooking is required it is better to
poach or boiled than to fry, grill or broil.
For your convenience I’ve included a list of foods that are high in lysine and low in arginine.

Shoppingforyourlysinesupplement
When you buy your lysine supplement there are other criteria which you should be aware of other than
price. One of them is what kind of lysine is actually used in the supplement. There is synthetic and there
is pure lysine which is what you want. It is also of help if your supplement also contains additional
nutrients such as bioflavonoids, vitamin C and zinc since they enhance each other.
You see, both zinc and vitamin C help to heal, regenerate and repair your skin with vitamin C being
responsible for the production of collagen. Imagine collagen as a kind of duct tape which holds together
your skin and other connective tissue. Bioflavonoids boost your immune system by killing free radicals
with their antioxidant properties.
When your buy your lysine capsules make sure that they are gelatin free. Gelatin is rich in Arginine, the
amino acid which helps the herpes virus to replicate itself. It is even possible to trigger and outbreak just
by taking gelatin so stay away.
Another no‐no is magnesium stearate. It is made out of beef and nowadays it is safer to stay away from
animal products.
The last ingredient you do not want to find in your lysine supplement is dicalcium phosphate (DP). The
problem with DP is that is can decrease your body’s ability to absorb nutrients, in particular zinc. As
discussed earlier zinc is your friend so stay clear of this commonly used ingredient.
The Ultimate Herpes Protocol recommends patients L‐Lysine from Solaray. The manufacturer confirmed
that is contains neither Gelatin, nor dicalcium phosphate nor magnesium stearate. Instead you get your
chelated zinc (best quality of zinc), vitamin C and vitamin B6 all combined in one pill.

Super‐chargingyourhealingprocess
While the simple 3‐step formula listed above is probably the most effective way to treat your herpes we
still advise all patients to further improve their chances to completely cure the condition by using the
following 4 powerful substances.
RawHoney
When you suffer from sores nothing is more urgent than getting rid of them. It’s a point where many
people fall for the promises of acyclovir and other overpriced drugs that promise to heal the sores as
fast as possible.
However healing sores with acyclovir is neither the fastest nor the best way to heal your sores. First of
all acyclovir is pricey. Second, it’s at best a mediocre way to force the sores into remission. Research has
found a way that is not only cheaper but also a lot more efficient, a fact that was proven in a scientific
study by the Department of Nephrology, Urology and Alternative Medicine of the Dubai Specialized
Medical Center.
In the study Al‐Waili compared the effect of applying a mix of natural ingredients on herpes sores on lips
or genitals with the application of acyclovir cream. 8 of the 16 participants suffered from type 1 herpes
and 8 from type 2 genital herpes. Half only used acyclovir, the other half only the mix of natural
ingredients.
The results are nothing short of shocking: the healing time with the alternative treatment was 35%, 39%,
28% and 43% better with the type 1 herpes patients.
The type 2 herpes sufferers enjoyed even better results. Healing time for them was 53%, 50%, 49% and
59% shorter.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page32
And the story doesn’t stop here. The alternative treatment forced 50% of the type 1 herpes cases into
complete remission and 25% of the type 2 herpes. Acyclovir didn’t manage to do this even in one single
case.
The best thing however is this: Unlike acyclovir with which almost 20% of the patients developed local
itching, the natural alternative did not have any side effects.
By now I’m sure you‘re curious what this natural mix of ingredients consists of. What is it that shortened
their healing time by 43% for cold sores and 59% for genital herpes sores?
The answer will surprise you. They used a cream which consisted of
1/3 raw honey
1/3 bee wax
1/3 olive oil
You can enjoy these miraculous effects yourself simply by mixing this lotion.
You can get all ingredients in your local health food store or on Amazon. For your convenience I’ve
already looked the products up for you so you can simple click on them and the link will directly lead you
to their Amazon page on which you can order them.
Preparing the lotion is easy. Simple put all 3 ingredients in a pot double boiler and slowly heat them up
until the bee wax melts. It’s best to prepare only a small quantity such as 50g or each resulting in about
150gr of lotion.
Start with the treatment within 1 hour of the appearance of the first sign or symptom of a sore. Use a
gauze and soak it in the lotion. Than press it firmly on the lesions for 14 minutes. Repeat this process 4
times a day until the sores disappear.
You will notice that the mix is quite sticky. It is thus best to have warm water handy to wash away any
excess lotion.

VitaminC
In a study by Colombia University, vitamin C – also called ascorbic acid –
has been proven to inactivate the herpes virus.
What makes it easy to overlook as a treatment is that it’s not an overnight
solution and requires high dosages of vitamin c. In a study by Frederick
Klenner, MD had given 8 patients who suffered from shingles 2,000 – 3,000
MG of vitamin C every 12 hours by injection. He also insisted of them
drinking a fruit juice which was enriched by an additional 1,000mg of
vitamin c every 2 hours.
7 of the 8 patients experienced complete relief of their pain after only two
hours after the initial injection. Within 3 days their blisters had healed.
Another study with 327 patients had a success ratio of 100%, with all
patients being cured.
Using the guidelines from these studies the Ultimate Herpes Protocol advises patients to follow this
vitamin c regimen:
Take 1,000 – 5,000mg of vitamin c in liposome‐encapsulated pills
Take 1,000 – 3,000mg of vitamin c of fat‐soluble ascorbyl palmate
If you have access to an enlightened health care physician try vitamin C infusions with a dosage
of 25,000 – 150,000mg of vitamin c daily
High dosages of vitamin c are generally considered safe. The most likely side effect is bowel problems. If
you experience diarrhea or stomach cramps you should reduce your dosage of vitamin c. Always check
with your health care practitioner before starting your vitamin C treatment since vitamin C
supplementation is not recommended for people who suffer from diabetes or have heart problems.

Zinc
Studies from the Hebrew University‐Hadassah Medical School of Jerusalem showed that zinc inhibited
the replication of HSV‐1 and HSV‐2. In another study 18 patients applied a 4% zinc sulfate diluted in
water four times a day for four days. Each application was left in place for no less than 1 hour. Tingling,
burning and pain stopped with all patients within 48 hours. The complete healing was 41% faster than
with conventional treatment and none of the participants experienced any side effects.
Another study repeated the experiment with 200 patients. They applied a 0.25% water‐zinc sulfate
solution up to 10 times a day. Their itching and burning stopped within 2‐3 hours.
Since high concentrations of zinc can cause irritation the Ultimate Herpes Protocol advises patients to
use diluted solutions of 0.25% zinc topically to get rid of any blisters.
There are several studies which had herpes patients orally supplement with zinc with a dosage between
23 – 50mg / day. The results: Herpes attacks became less frequent.
It is thought that zinc strengthens the immune system.
If you want to try out supplementing orally with zinc, it’s best to take no less than 30mg/day and also
take 1‐2mg of copper to stay clear of a copper deficiency which can be causes if your body receives too
much zinc.

Oliveleafextract
Probably the oldest cure against herpes is an extract of the leaves of
the common olive tree. It is botanically classified as Oleaeuropaea L
and its medical use can be traced back 6,000 years. Even the bible
refers to this tree as the “tree of life”.
While the healing effects of olive oil are widely known even
triggering articles in the Huffington Post, the properties of the
leaves of the Olive tree have remained more of an insider secret.
Modern Western medicine discovered them as a tea brew to treat
malaria in the early 19th century.
The active ingredient was later isolated in biochemical analysis and
called oleuropein. Experiments by the Upjohn Company, which is not part of Pfizer, proved that the
antiviral properties of oleuropein stopped the virus from making copies of itself by preventing it to enter
human cells and it also kept it from infecting other people via viral shredding.
The Upjohn Company also tested the safety of oleuropein and one of its 16 active substances calcium
elenolate. All tests confirmed that the substance was “exceedingly safe and non‐toxic”.
People react differently to olive leaf extract which is why some people report feeling its healing effects
in just hours while for others it takes 2 – 4 weeks.
The Ultimate Herpes Protocol advises patients to select a product with a concentration of at least 15%
oleuropein.
For your treatment you should take 2x500mg three times a day on an empty stomach in between meals
in case you are currently suffering from an outbreak. For general prevention during the rest of your
treatment protocol it is sufficient to take2 capsules a day with a minimum of 275mg.

FrequentlyaskedquestionsI know this can all be a bit much, even overwhelming. I thus decided to include this section with
questions I have received from other people who are already following the protocol with success.
Do you need to spray the whole 300ml of diluted hydrogen peroxide on your neck before
rubbing in the DMSO in? That seems like a lot of liquid to spray on your neck?
Yes, you do need to spray the entire 300ml. I know that's a lot of liquid and a bit messy. I've told my
father this and he promised to do further research to make this process easier yet still effective and
safe.
Are there any health risks I should be aware of?
There are no health risks to this treatment as long as you follow instructions and don't swallow the
H2O2 or apply it undiluted.
Have you had 100% success rate from your clients?
I would love to say that there's a 100% success rate but I leave this to the sellers of snake oil. As you
know this virus is very tricky and with some people it just doesn't want to leave no matter how hard
you try. That's why I made sure everyone can get their money back in case they belong to those
unlucky few.
Are you able to provide me with any more real life results/stories?
With the case studies it's very hard. As you know there's a lot of shame and guilt about the
condition. Very few people feel comfortable talking about it with someone they don't know
personally such as me.
It says to dilute the hydrogen peroxide and of course the number of drops you use are listed,
but what is the ratio of water you dilute it in?
You dilute the H2O2 in a spray bottle with 8oz/300ml of water.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page37
I ordered L‐Lysine recommended from Solaray, do I still need to order Lysine?
If you ordered the L‐Lysine then you are good to go.
I have many lower back tattoos and I am concerned that applying the solution to my low back
will alter them. Do you have any experience with this in any other clients you have served?
This is quite a difficult question and you're actually the first to ask me. I do think that the H2O2 is
too diluted to do any damage to your tattoos but I'm not an expert on this. I think you might have
more success asking a tattooing expert. I'm very sorry that I'm not more of a help here but I believe
it's better to be honest and say when I don't know.
When I purchase the 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide and follow the instructions in term
how many drops I put in the 8oz bottle (daily), am I spraying the treatment once a day?
You are spraying the treatment once a day, this is correct.
Will I be adding more water to replace what I've used spraying? Or am I continuing to add the
drops (as instructed) with the amount of water left in the bottle?
You will use up the entire content of the bottle each day, refill it with water the next day and add
the appropriate number of drops of H2O2 to it.
Where can I find 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide?
I've provided a link to the product on Amazon earlier in the manual. Here’s the hyperlink again:
http://ultimateherpesprotocol.com/hydrogen‐peroxide
With the cream do you only put that on sores or everywhere you put the spray, like you said
hip and lower back?
With the DMSO cream I've found that it helps some people to also apply it to the sores as well. I'd
recommend you experiment if it helps you or not.
TheUltimateHerpesProtocol–SecretstoNaturallyTreatHerpes
Copyright2013–UltimateHerpesProtocol.com Page38
My local store only sells 3% food grade can / should I use this?
Since the DMSO transports everything into our body it comes in contact with I'd be very careful with
the 3% solution. Some manufacturers add stuff you really don't want in your body. I'd recommend
you check the label with care and then make and educated decision.
I purchased the ebook, but is there option for a hard copy?
Currently we're not offering a hard copy of the guide. It's mainly due to the fact that we launched to
the general public just in October 2013. However we do plan to release a hard copy in the future if
we see sufficient interest.
