Divine Shield is great for protecting your units from being

sniped from the mid or back row early in the fight

Basic attack has a long range and usually hits 2+ targets (3

maximum), draining energy at the same time

High damage when she's able to hit 3 targets consistently

Ultimate and basic attack skills don't fully jive together, because her ultimate affects one target whereas her third and fourth skill ideally affect three targets

Basic attack is only split to hit three maximum targets, not five, so Ariel can only drain three of five enemies in the Arena, which means she will not counter strong back row

enemies such as Theresa, Sebastian, or Ruby, and she also thusly does not replace Sebastian's role completely

Requires a second support to shine fully. Best when paired with Coco, Murphy, or Sebastiandepending on game mode

Her item Sebastian Shield will only trigger when Ariel reaches close to half health, which may be too late to protect much of the team in auto-battle modes such as Arena
