We each get one Hero to last us all year!If you lose it, you must replace it.

H.E.R.O. Folders

This year, your child will be given a very special HERO. They are to bringtheir HERO to school every single day and take it home each night.

The HERO will be a tool to help your child learn the important skill oforganization and will be a communication device between home and school.

Your child's HERO has several important features. There are two pockets.One is marked "HOMEWORK" and is the first thing you will see inside of

your child's HERO. This is where all homework and the homeworkassignment sheet will be placed. This will help your child know exactly where

to find their work and will help me quickly locate it each morning when Icheck everyone's HERO.

The next thing you will find inside your HERO is your HERO's "Utility Belt."The Utility Belt is a page protector where you can send important things toschool! Please send all permission slips, lunch money, bus notes, book orders,or other important items in this clear sheet protector. Your HERO will help

them get to school safely! Next, you will find... HERO rules in a clear sheet protector.

There are also "Speller's Choice" activities inside a clear sheet protector.There is one sheet protector where we will place our spelling words each

month also. After your spelling words pocket, there is a page protector called "The

Secret Lair". All documents that I put here need to stay safe righthere! Inside will be a class-list as well as other papers as the year goes on!

There are sheets of notebook paper called Conversation Bubbles that areto be left in the HERO and used only for parent/teacher communication. Ifyou need to let me know any important information, you can write it here in

your child's HERO (please date it!), and I will check these daily. I willrespond to you in the HERO also. Please leave all communication inside the

HERO so we have a record if we need to look back on any of our notes. One of the last features of your child's HERO is a signature sheet that I

ask you to sign every weekend when the HERO comes home full of theweek's class work.

Finally, you will find their Friday pocket filled with all of their good workfor the week. Please take some time to sit down with your child and "oooh"and "aaaah" over their work. When you have finished, you may keep theirwork and sign the signature sheet. Your HERO is ready to come back to

school on Monday!

Este ao, su hijo recibir un hroe muy especial. Se van a llevar su hroe a laescuela todos los das y llevarlo a casa cada noche.

El hroe es una herramienta para ayudar a su nio a aprender las habilidadesimportantes de la organizacin y ser un instrumento de comunicacin entre el

hogar y la escuela.

El HERO su hijo tiene varias caractersticas importantes. Hay dos bolsillos. Unode ellos es marcado como "deberes" y es la primera cosa que usted ve en el interior

de el HERO de su hijo. Aqu es donde todas las tareas y la hoja de asignacin detareas sern colocadas. Esto ayudar a que su hijo sepa exactamente dnde seencuentra su trabajo y me ayudar a localizar rpidamente todas las maanas

cuando cheque a todos los HERO.

Lo siguiente que se encuentra dentro de tu hroe hroe es el Cinturn deherramientas (utility belt)." Este es un protector de la pgina donde usted puedaenviar cosas importantes a la escuela! Por favor enve todos los permisos, el dinero

del almuerzo, las notas de autobuses, los pedidos de libros y otros artculosimportantes en este protector de hojas. Su HERO les ayudar a que lleguen a la

escuela con seguridad!

A continuacin, se encuentra ... Reglas del Hroe en un protector de hojas.Hay tambin "Eleccin Ortografica" (spellers choice) actividades para escogerdentro de un protector de hojas. Hay un protector de hojas donde pondremos

nuestra ortografa de las palabras de cada mes tambin.

Despus de la ortografa de bolsillo, hay tambien protector de pgina que se llama"La guarida secreta (secret liar).Todos los documentos que he puesto ah

necesitan mantenerse a salvo! En el interior habr una lista,de la clase, as comootros documentos que enviare en el transcurso del ao!

Hay hojas de papel de cuaderno llamado "Burbujas de conversacin" (conversationbubbles), que se van a quedar en el hroe y se utiliza slo para la comunicacin de

padre/maestro. Si es necesario que me haga saber cualquier informacinimportante, puede escribir ah en HERO de su hijo (por favor ponga la fecha ).

Voy a revisar esto diariamente. Voy a responderle por medio de el hroe tambin.Por favor, deje todas las comunicaciones dentro del HERO as que tendremos un

rcord para revizar nuestras notas. Uno de las ltimos detalles de HERO es una hoja de firmas que le pedire que firme

cada fin de semana cuando el hroe vuelva a casa lleno con el trabajo de la clase dela semana.

Por ltimo, se encuentra el bolsillo de el Viernes lleno de todo su buen trabajo de lasemana. Por favor tmese el tiempo para sentarse con su hijo y "oooh" y "aaaah"admirese sobre su trabajo. Cuando haya terminado, usted puede quedarse con su

trabajo y firmar la hoja de firmas. Su hroe estar listo para volver a la escuela elLunes!
