Lot 1 — AHA Street Sign

Lot 1 — AHA Street Sign• The National Junior Hereford Association (NJHA) fundraising tradition continues with

the sale of the street sign that has moved from 1501 Wyandotte and now will be on display in the lobby of the new American Hereford Association headquarters on 11500 Ambassador Drive. The street sign will be auctioned with the proceeds going to the NJHA Board to aid in leadership development activities for the junior board. The sign, measuring 6x24 in. will feature the buyer’s name and will be displayed for one year in the lobby and museum of the AHA headquarters. AHA hosts many industry guests throughout the year and the street sign is sure to be a conversation starter in the new lobby. A huge thanks to GKB Cattle, Waxahachie, Texas, for purchasing the sign in last year’s sale and to all of the supporters who have purchased and bid on the sign in year’s past. We appreciate each and everyone of you for your help in developing our board into the best leaders we can be.

• This dark red, double red-eyed, polled April Trust daughter is a great young show and donor prospect. Brynlee is easily the best female we’ve offered for auction outside of one of our own production sales in quite some time. Her young dam, Veronica, is also one of our top young donors. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to purchase a show heifer that offers this much look, rib and power and combines it with an outstanding pedigree. For as good as this heifer is right now, she’ll be even better at Junior Nationals next summer.

Her dominate phenotype, intriguing pedigree and EPD profile will make her a triple threat within your herd. This female is sired by the very popular Sensation 2504 and her dam is our homozygous polled 719T donor that came out of Topp Herefords’ program. • Edna is a fancy made, unique breeding piece with outstanding performance. Her sire is one of the more popular bulls in the breed today. What more can you say about the 2205 cow? She is the dam of Toro and Cinch in addition to thousands of dollars in recent progeny sold. You can’t beat the maternal power here when you combine 2205 with the great 002X cow on the topside. Edna ranks in the top 10% of the breed or better for WW, YW, REA and CHB$ while right around breed average for BW. She’s structurally correct and is a tremendous donor prospect.
