Looking for a way to get out and meet our community? Come serve at our last "Tailgate Party" outreach of the 2017 Lloyd Juggernaut Football Season! We grill up free food, hang out with students and families, blast positive music, and share how God is ministering to His people through regular folks at Erlanger Baptist Church just down

the street. Bring a lawn chair and come join us October 20th at 5 pm and leading up to kickoff at 7 pm right outside the football field entrance!

EBC Combined Service with Our Hispanic Congregation! Once again, our two congregations unite together not only to worship God

but to display the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In this Gospel, even when we

both come from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds, what we have in

common is greater than our differences—the Lord Jesus. Reminding the

Galatians of this unity, the apostle Paul writes, “There is neither Jew nor

Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you

are all one in Christ Jesus (Gal 3:28).” Paraphrasing this verse, we could

say, “There is neither American nor Hispanic, for we are all ONE in Christ

Jesus.” It is in this oneness that we testify to a dividing world that despite

our differences we can come together as one new family. Praise God!

With the shepherd doing so much to encourage the flock, wouldn’t it be nice if the flock returned the favor? As teachers, counselors, comforters and the ones who unselfishly serve, your pastoral staff and their families could use your prayers and encouragement So go ahead and find your special way to say thanks. You will be glad you did!

Angels Around Us—What the Bible Really Says Invite a friend to join you for the Women’s Fall Refresher on Saturday, November 4, 8:30 am-2:20 pm Come dig into scripture with author and pastor Douglas Connelly. Cost of Conference is $15 includes morning coffee, lunch and conference materials. To register, give checks to Martha Miller or the church office. Registration must be received by October 22.

UPWARD BASKETBALL IS COMING BACK TO EBC

COACHES & VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Upward Basketball is returning this winter to EBC and

we need volunteers. No matter your level of basketball skill; we need you! There are many

opportunities and avenues to serve and be blessed while watching kids experience the love and saving

grace of Jesus. By God’s grace and your help, we are looking forward to a great season. Please see Dustin Teter at the Upward table in

the CLC and sign up today to serve this season! We will have an interest meeting with more information on Sunday, October 22.
