Dear Clients, Teaming Partners, Vendors, and Friends:

The COVID-19 virus (commonly referred to as the Corona Virus) continues to impact our daily lives, and even though to date there are no confirmed cases in the KFW family, we believe in being prepared and transparent with our actions. Safety is a priority for KFW, and as such, we are following the recommendations of the CDC to safeguard our staff and clients.

Proactive measures we are taking as a company include:

• Greatly restricting any in-person client meetings, trainings, and conferences, and using video and call conferencing for the time being.

• Sick employees will remain home to ensure other employees and clients are not exposed to unnecessary risks.

VIDA San Antonio is a place where you can shop, play, and work where you live. This new development will feature a variety of living spaces from apartments to duplexes and single-family homes all with direct access to the Madla Greenway & a Zócalo filled with shops & dining options. VIDA neighbors Texas A&M University-San Antonio and the Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas plant.

SAN PEDRO SPRINGS PARKThis City of San Antonio bond project includes completion of a one-mile walking path, replacement of two softball fields with open green space, and a public restroom makeover with new fixtures, walls, finishes, and a drinking fountain. KFW Engineers and Surveying was able to be a part of this project and serve as a consultant to Rialto Studio. Fun fact: San Pedro Springs Park is the oldest city park in Texas and the second-oldest park in the United States!

Engineers Week, or E-Week, is a week-long celebration of how engineers make a difference in our world and

an effort to raise awareness of the engineering profession. E-week this year ran from Feb. 16 through

Barkaritaville is a professional pet care resort located near the Dominion. This 16,000 square-foot facility offers pet lodging, doggie daycare, grooming services, a spa, a dog swimming pool, and a retail shop. KFW provided civil and surveying for this fun project!

quarterly women’s outing

KFW’s Quarterly Women's Initiative included lunch at Paloma Blanca and a trip to the the

San Antonio Zoo! The ladies enjoyed a walk through the butterfly garden and Lory Landing.

KFW began this initiative for female employees to support and encourage each other to take on new challenges, learn new skills, and talk openly about

their ambitions.
