"Margie cared for Mom as well or better than a member of the family could, and proved a stalwart and reliable companion and helper even in difficult situations ... the family was able to enjoy our time with Mom to a much greater extent.” Mr. H, Client's Son "I am writing to thank you for your help during the last week. I appreciate your attentiveness to the needs of my mother and finding such a helpful companion for her. We will definitely contact you again as soon as we need your help in the future." Mrs. C, Client's Daughter "I wanted to find a role in society that was not predominately profit-oriented, that cared about people. Given my history of taking care of family and friends, and my enjoyment of the quieter, calmer attitude of seniors, caregiving seemed a good choice. I love hearing people's stories and find it good to find out who people are in spite of their problems and limitations. I like that Premier meets with potential clients, keeps a record book in their homes and goes with the caregiver the first visit to introduce them. I also like that if I need to sound off or have a problem, I call Premier and am treated with patience. I feel comfortable giving them input and discussing issues." Barbara, Caregiver "I always have had the passion for taking care of elder people. Cargiving, for me, is a very rewarding job. Relating with them and giving care for elderly is what I always wanted to do. I know they need a person like me who can give them understanding and compassionate care in every way, seeing them smile when they feel you meet their needs." Elisa, Caregiver "Since 'growing up' I always wanted to take care of my parents and grandparents because in this generation you don't find many people who are as compassionate about families. This is why I had chosen this field, because I enjoy working and socializing with seniors. I enjoy working for Premier Homecare, I think they are a fantastic agency to work for. They are well organized with great team workers." Shaneeza, PSW Caregiver “The care-giver you chose for me is not only very competent and professional in meeting my conventional needs, but she has also, gradually, over the months, transformed an extremely disorganized and cluttered apartment into a clean and tidy, safe and secure environment for me, a partially-disabled man in my 80’s." Mr. M, Client "My name is Dorothy and I am 88 years old, living alone. I was wondering how long I would be able to carry on with the tasks of day to day living ... I was sent caring, compassionate caregivers to suit my needs, enabling me to remain in the home I love."
