Sub: Release of 1st installment of Central assistance for Geo-Tagging Activities

performed by the States under BLC component of PMAY (U) - reg.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to convey the sanction of the President of India to the release of

Rs. 3,27,800/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty-Seven Thousand and Eight Hundred

only) as 1st installment (507 of Central Share) towards Geo-tagging activities

performed by the States under BLC component of PMAY (U). The statement showing

State-wise details of geo-tagging and amount admissible are as under:

2. The above grant is subject to the following conditions:

(i) The State will comply with the terms and conditions stipulated in the guidelines,

CSMC directions and instructions issued by this Ministry.

(ii) The State will utilize the sanctioned grant for the purpose for which it is

released.

(iii)2nd installment will be released on the basis of actual accepted geotagging points

on Bhuvan portal for each project for which funds have been released. There are

5 stages available on Bhuvan portal for which beneficiaries can be geotogged

including completion stage. Before release of 2nd installment the completion stage

of all beneficiaries in a project must be done.

(iv)The State Government/Nodal Agency shall strictly monitor the progress of the

preparatory work.

(v) The amount of central assistance approved will form a part of capacity building

plan of the State under PMAY (Urban) mission.

(vi)Transfer of funds to different entities may be made through PFMS, as applicable;

and where there is an element of cash transfers to individual beneficiaries, the

some may be made through PFMS/DBT mode, as applicable.

3. The amount is debitable from the account of the Central Government in the books

under the following Head of Account under Demand No. 56 M/o Housing and Urban

Affairs for the year 2018-19:

4. The amount will be credited to the State Government's Account at Reserve Bank

of India as per procedure laid down by Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure

in this regard.

5. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Division vide their Note#83

dated 08.06.2018.

6. The sanction has been registered at SI. Noj2. of the Grants-in-Aid

Register of the HFA Division for the year 2018-19.
