Keeping Your Information SafeYou may have heard on the news about a recent breakthrough in the Heartbleed bug which exploits vulnerabilities in Open SSL encrypted websites and databases. Encrypted sites can often be identi� ed by https:// at the beginning of web addresses. While it is very important for you to ensure that you have taken the time to reset passwords and secure other personal information, we would like to let you know that, as of now, Wells Fargo was one of the handfuls of sites that went una� ected by this particular bug. In keeping with the theme of security, we would also like to take the time to remind you that there is no 100% fail safe method for keeping your information out of the wrong hands, but there are certainly measures that can be taken to make your data harder to steal. One thing in particular that you can do when dealing with Collins Investment Group is sending us any sensitive information via our secure message center on wellsfargoadvisors.com. You must be registered for access online in order to use the system, but once you have registered, it is a breeze to use.

All you need to do is click, “Send Secure Message”, type the email address of whichever member of the Collins Group that you would like to send to, and send it just as you would with any other email system.
