The challenges for remote teams can affect teams themselves and the
manager in charge of them. Fortunately, there is now a wide range of
tools and technologies enabling remote teams to function cohesively and
smoothly. Advanced communication tools are now available to help them
communicate effectively in real time.

A communication plan is crucial to determine the things that need
communicating and how it will be done. The plan should also
outline the meeting structure and the platform to be used (video
