Mitigating Risk: What now?IBM has created the Hyperion Enterprise to Hyperion Financial Management Assessment to help enable Hyperion Enterprise customers to define the best migration path available given their organisational constraints, to allow them to migrate successfully and with minimal risk to business as usual.
This is a rapid process designed to help identify, evaluate and propose a migration path, tailored to your organisation, to migrate to Oracle HFM and continue to benefit from the reliability and efficiency of Oracle’s Best in Class Financial Consolidation product. Providing an effective action planThe assessment will:• Determinethecurrentstateoftheconsolidationand
reportingenvironment,identifyareasforimprovement,throughreviewingsystemdocumentation,conductingworkshopsandkeystakeholderinterviews
• Develophigh-levelrecommendationstoimprovetheconsolidationandreportingenvironmentinareassuchasdatacapture,datasecurity,workflowandenduserexperience
• Review findings and present a high-level business case and roadmap to an optimal migration plan to achieve the strategic business initiatives
The outcome of the assessment will be recommendations of the migration approach and timescales incorporating a high level end to end process flow, change management considerations and possible “early win” initiatives. A roadmap to achieve the recommended migration path, a proposal for the recommended solution and agreed next steps will also be provided.
