1. Introduction

CIM (Collateral Interface for Members) has been developed to eases the process of the information

submission to the Clearing Corporation. A screen based facility for requesting cash addition, release of

collateral, and upload facility for margin file Upload.

2. Purpose

This guide will enable you to use the option provided in the Collateral Interface for Members User

Module and provides detailed procedure for the same.

3. Login

Users can log on to the CIM (Collateral Interface for Members) using the username and password

provided by NSCCL.

To start the CIM

1. Click Start on your computer, point to Programs, and click Internet Explorer.

2. To start Collateral Interface for Members, type the address, https://c2n.nseifsc.com/CIM/ in

the Address bar, and then click the GO button.

3. Collateral Interface for Members displays the Login screen as shown in the following figure.

4. Type the user name, password and captcha code in the relevant fields.

Note: If the user enters incorrect password for six consecutive attempts the user will have

to request the Clearing Corporation to reset the password..

4. Two Factor Authentication

This screen shall appear post successful first level login authentication.

1. In case the user is logging in for the first time, user shall be asked to enter email ID

and mobile number.

2. When the user enters the valid email ID and mobile number and submits the form. It

is saved in database and the 4 digit OTP is generated and is send to user on its mobile

number and on email Id.

3. Login to the application shall be permitted on successful two factor authentication

4. If the user enters invalid OTP for 5 continues attempts. Then the user gets disabled. If user is

disabled, then in such case it can be enabled by contacting to the Operation Team.

5. Forgot Password

o On click of ‘Forgot Password?’ button, it will ask for User ID and Member Code.

o On click of Generate OTP, it will send an OTP to registered email address and mobile number.

o After entering valid OTP, it will give provision to enter new password.

o User can change password using ‘Forgot Password’ link, only if email address and mobile

number are registered for that user.

6. Collateral Interface for Members User Interface

Menu Bar

The navigation bar displays the various displays the various options available in the Collateral Interface for Members. The screen corresponding to the link that you choose appear in the Workspace.

Workspace

The workspace is the working area of the application. It is the central rectangular portion of the browser window in which all the data entry elements are displayed.

Home Page

The home page link is used for navigating to the home page of the application.

Logout

As a rule, you should exit the Collateral Interface for Members User Module properly. The proper procedure is to log out from the application and then close the browser window.

To exit the Collateral Interface for Members User Module

1. Click the Logout menu in the navigation bar.

2. The Collateral Interface for Members will prompt you to confirm and returns you to the Login screen.

3. Click the close button of the browser.

7. Change Password

Using this option, you can change the password and re-login using the new password when prompted to do so.

To change your password

1. Change password menu appears when the user logs in the Collateral Interface for Members for the first time or when password is reset.

2. Collateral Interface for Members display the Change Password screen as shown in the following figure.

3. Click the Change Password button.

4. Collateral Interface for Members display the Login screen to re-login.

User Name: User name will appear for the user who has logged in.

Old Password: Type the appropriate old password in this field.This field support

minimum 1 characters and password should contain at least one uppercase characters, one special characters, one special characters and one lowercase characters. This field is

mandatory.

New Password: Type the appropriate new password in this field. This field support

minimum 1 characters and password should contain at least one uppercase characters,

one special characters, one special characters and one lowercase characters. This field is mandatory.

Confirm Password: To confirm the password re-type the password that was typed in the New Password field. This field support minimum 1 characters and password should contain at least one uppercase characters, one special characters, one special characters and one lowercase characters. This field is mandatory.

Note: When a user changes his password he has to login again using the new password. When the user logins for the first time he is also prompted to change his password. The password expires after every one year after which the user will prompted to change his password when he logs in.

8. Release Request/Inquiry

To request for release 1. Log on to Collateral Interface for Members. 2. Click the Collateral ReleaseNew release Request/Inquiry menu on the navigation bar. 3. Collateral Interface for Members displays the Release request Screen for Cash as shown

in the following figure.

User would be required to select.

Collateral Type

o MD (Margin Deposit)

o SD (Security Deposit)

Mode

o Release Request

o Release Inquiry

Instrument Type

o Cash(CHQ)

o Bank Guarantee(BGN)

o Fixed Deposit(FD)

Based on the above selection, appropriate screen would be available to the user.

Cash Release Request/Inquiry.

1. To request for release for cash

a. Log on to collateral interface for members.

b. Click the Collateral Release New Release/Inquiry menu on the navigation bar.

2. On user selecting mode as “Release Request”, Instrument Type as “CHQ” and clicking on “GO” button the following screen will be displayed.

3. The fields that are displayed on the screen are:

a. Available Cash in USD. (Figures and words)

b. Requested cash in USD.(Figures and words)

4. Release Request to primary account should be less than or equal to cash collateral amount.

5. Click on Immediate/Value button.

6. In case of Value date select the date and click OK button.

To inquire/modify release request of Cash

1. User shall be able to inquire all cash submitted by him during the day and view the status of each

2. Following status would be maintained for a request in various stage of processing:

a. Pending(Request pending for processing)

b. Processing(Request is being processed)

c. Accepted (Request has been accepted and processed)

d. Rejected (Request has been rejected)

e. Cancelled (Request has been cancelled by the user)

3. In case of Immediate request, modification and cancellation is not allowed.

4. User can modify or cancel the existing request if the request is in pending state.

5. All the accepted, rejected and canceled request will be available to user for enquiry.

The following screen will be displayed on inquiry of cash release request.

1. Bank Guarantee (BGN) Release Request/Inquiry

1. To request for release of Bank Guarantee

2. Log on to Collateral Interface for Members.

3. Click the Collateral Release New Release Request/Inquiry menu on the navigation bar. On User selecting mode as “Release Request”, Instrument Type as “BGN” and clicking on “GO” button the following screen will be displayed.

Matured Bank Guarantees will be displayed with a yellow background

Bank Guarantee from which an amount has been blocked will be displayed with a grey background

The instrument with blocked amount will be displayed with a grey background.

The instruments with blocked amount will not be available for release unless blocking replacement for same is given.

After selecting the Bank Guarantees to be releases and clicking on Immediate/Value date button the user will be prompted to confirm his requests.

In case of Immediate request the user will be prompted with message to confirm his requests as shown in the below screen.

To inquiry/modify release request for Bank Guarantee (BGN)

1. User can inquire all the release request for Bank Guarantees submitted by them during the day and view the status of each.

2. Following status would be maintained for a request in various stages of processing

a. Pending (Request pending for processing)

b. Processing (Request is being processed)

c. Accepted (Request has been accepted and processed)

d. Rejected (Request has been rejected)

3. In case of Immediate requests modification and creation will not be allowed.

4. User will be allowed to cancel Bank Guarantees release request with status as Pending through this screen.

5. All the accepted, rejected and cancelled request will be available to user for enquiry.

Fixed Deposit (FD) Release Request/Inquiry

1. To request for release of Bank Guarantee

2. Log on to Collateral Interface for Members.

3. Click the Collateral Release New Release Request/Inquiry menu on the navigation bar. On User selecting mode as “Release Request”, Instrument Type as “FDP” and clicking on “GO” button the following screen will be displayed

4. Matured Fixed Deposit receipts will be displayed with yellow background

5. Fixed Deposit receipts from which an amount has been blocked will be displayed with a grey background.

6. The instruments with blocked amount will not be available for release unless blocking replacement for the same as given.

7. After selecting the Fixed Deposit Request to be released and clicking on Immediate/Value Date button the user will be prompted to confirm his requests.

8. In case of Value Date select the date and confirm the request.

To inquire/modify the release request of Fixed Deposit Receipts

1. User can inquire all the release requests for Fixed Deposits Receipts submitted by them during the day and view the status of each

2. Following status would be maintained for a request in various stages of processing

a. Pending (Request pending for processing)

b. Processing (Request is being processed)

c. Accepted (Request has been accepted and processed)

d. Rejected (Request has been rejected)

e. Canceled (Request has been cancelled by the user)

3. In case of Immediate requests modification and creation will not be allowed.

4. User will be allowed to cancel Bank Guarantees release request with status as Pending through this screen

9. Cash Deposit

Cash Deposit request

Using this option, user may deposit the Cash for various Collateral types

To enter Cash Deposit Request

a. Log on to Collateral Interface for Member

b. Click the EMICash Deposit

Collateral Interface for Members displays the Cash Deposit Inquiry Screen as shown in following figure

User can insert the new Cash Deposit Request or he can simply refresh the page

On Click of Insert the Cash Deposit screen will be displayed as follows

Depending on the segment for which Member is registered with exchange, a dropdown list of segment option will be displayed in this screen

User can select the Collateral type and Bank from drop down list and enter the amount to be deposited.

The Cash Deposit Request will go to Bank side. Depending on the Bank selected at the time of Cash Deposit. Further the Cash Deposit confirmation maker and checker will be executed at Bank side and User can view the status accordingly in Cash Deposit Inquiry Screen.

10. Client Margin File Upload

Using this option, user may upload a file for client margin reporting.

To upload Client Margin File

Log on to Collateral Interface for Members.

Click the Client MarginFile Upload Menu.

The file naming convention shall be for Trading Members.

1. The file naming convention for Trading Member shall be G_S<m>_MRG_TM_<DDMMYYYY>_nn.csv

2. And for Clearing Member is <Memcode>G_G_S<m>_MRG_TM_<DDMMYYYY>_nn.csv

3. Click the browse button to browse for desired file, and after selection of appropriate file Click on upload to upload the file

To Download the Margin or Penalty File:

1.) Log on to Collateral Interface for Member

2.) Click the Client MarginFile Download menu

3.) In will ask for the File Type to be downloaded. It can be either Margin file or penalty file.

On selecting the file type the file will appear accordingly.

On click of the filename hyperlink, file can be downloaded as shown.

To view Client Margin Report:

Log on to Collateral Interface for Members

Click the Client MarginClient Margin Report Menu

The report will display Client Margin report for Clearing member level as well as trading

member level.

Also cumulative penalty at clearing member level will be shown to the user below the

clearing member details grid.

Cumulative Penalty displayed is:

“Total penalty as on DD-MM-YYYY for the month of MMM-YYYY is USD. xxxxxxxxx to

be collected on DD-MM-YYYY” Where

DD-MM-YYYY – shall be the current date

DD-MM-YYYY – shall be the 6th working date of the next month

MMM-YYYY shall be the month for which penalty amount is displayed.

In Case the member is TM cumulative penalty will not be shown to the Member.

11. GSEC

To make GSEC deposit request.

Using this option you can make a GSEC deposit request.

To enter Cash Deposit Request

a. Log on to Collateral Interface for Member

b. Click the EMIGSEC Deposit

Select the “Request” as a Mode from drop down and click on Go button.

Fill the details in the required fields and click on “Save” button.

Once the user clicks on Save button. The request is send to Collateral for confirmation.

The status of the request is displayed to user when user clicks on “Go” button.

Select the Segment and Press “Show All” button.

The status of the request will remain as “Pending” till it is accepted by Collateral System. GSEC Release Request/Inquiry

1. To request for release of GSEC

2. Log on to Collateral Interface for Members.

3. Click the Collateral Release New Release Request/Inquiry menu on the navigation bar. On User selecting mode as “Release Request”, Instrument Type as “GSE” and clicking on “GO” button the following screen will be displayed

4. After selecting the GSEC Request to be released and clicking on Immediate/Value Date button the user will be prompted to confirm his requests.

5. In case of Value Date select the date and confirm the request.

To inquire/modify the release request of GSEC Receipts

6. User can inquire all the release requests for GSEC Receipts submitted by them during the day and view the status of each

7. Following status would be maintained for a request in various stages of processing

a. Pending (Request pending for processing)

b. Processing (Request is being processed)
