Not a Fancy Girl- By Sara Willans

Just give me a working girl, a get-to-it girl

Not a fancy girl or a frilly girl.

I want a little girl that can hold a bug and chase a rainbow throughthe mud,

A girl that can get along and still be soft, but strong.

My girl doesn’t fuss or fret if her feet get wet, when her feet getwet.

Give me a true girl, a good girl

Never a bossy or a pushy girl.

My girl could get a dirty face but still fight the thorns in herblackberry chase.

But MOST of all give me a girl, that without delay,

Will always lay ONE EGG a day!

on the shores of Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, the second onthe Hazelton side still in British Columbia and finally the thirdabout 30 kilometers from Whitehorse in the Yukon.

In summary, trailer, a chalet, and a sauna!
