Hello Popsy & Joyce
This is Otis & Louie – we just wanted to send you a little letter with some pictures so you
can see what we have been up to since the last time we saw you down in Wales.
We all hope that you are both feeling ok and we just wanted you to know that we are
thinking of you even though we are all the way in London.
After we saw you a few weeks back we started back to school. This was very exciting for
Louie as he has now moved up to the big school and has to wear the same shirt and tie as
Otis.
We are both learning lots of new things at school – though we have lots of
homework every night. We have both joined the chess club and Otis is now
getting very good on his guitar. Louie says that he wants to play the drums but
we don’t think the neighbours would be too keen…
As you can see we both look very
smart. This is us outside the house on
our first morning back to school.
Elwood wants to be part of everything
we do and he drives to school with us
every morning.
As you can imagine it is very wild in
our house in the mornings. We get up
about 7:30, have to get ready, have
breakfast (usually egg on toast &
Elwood has porridge) , do our maths
homework and get up to the school by
8:50. It is always very crazy and there
is generally lots of shouting going on.
While we are at school Elwood likes to go to the park and scare the birds.
His favourite thing to do though is to go to the shop at the end of our road and
look at the ice-cream sign ?!
The other week we all went to a posh party in a castle ! Oxbrough Hall is in
Norfolk and is the family home of one of Mam’s friends from when she was a
little girl. They are the oldest catholic family in Britain and they are very posh !!!
We all had tea in the grand banqueting suite – Dad said it was like being in a
Miss Marple mystery…
This is us all outside the castle the next day…
And this is a photo of Mam & Dad when they were last there about 12years ago…
That’s it for now.
We will see you both very soon.
We all love you
Gavin, Yvonne, Otis, Louie & Elwood
