*Box the 4 adjectives in line 2….double check that each is an adjective…make changes as needed

*Circle two words that could be changed to something more descriptive…….make changes

*Underline pronouns in lines 4-7 (words used in place of your name). Be sure each is 3rd person: he/she; him/her; etc.

*Check lines 4-8 to be sure each includes phrases….also check that verbs are all same tense…make needed corrections (For example: do all of your verbs end in –ing or –ed?)

*Make sure each line begins with a capital letter…make corrections

*Check that lines 4-7 end in a period….make corrections.

*Be sure items in a series are separated with commas….make corrections

Hello! Final• Open Microsoft Word• Under the tab Page layout ,change the page orientation to

landscape.• Under the Home tab choose appropriate font & change size

from 11 to 16• Center your text on the page and type Hello!• Align the rest of your poem to the left side of the page and

type poem• Be sure to single space the lines. • Tab all line continuations so that the continuation is

indented.• Pay attention to capitalization and punctuation.• Be sure to use spell check and correct any errors. This is

under the Review tab.
