KEEPING THE AIRCRAFT FLYINGFROM UNITED KINGDOM TO AUSTRALIA AND EVERY COUNTRY IN BETWEEN
SUPPORTING THE HELICOPTER INDUSTRY SINCE 1999
In the hyper-competitive helicopter transportation and aerial work sector, operators are under increasing market pressures to maximise asset utilisation. Concerns include differentiating services, responding to rapidly changing market demands, complying with regulatory requirements, minimising costs and maximising the range of mis-sions that the helicopters can undertake. Helicopters are ideal for multi-role missions and the key to maximising the asset utilisation lies in the ability to rapidly configure the helicopter for different roles such as oil and gas transportation, aeromedical evacuation, aerial work, search and rescue, and VIP transport.
To help helicopter operators meet these challenges, GVH Aerospace offers EASA and CASA approved solutions with optional dual approval. We are adept at working with bilateral aviation regulations to provide innovative solu-tions with local airworthiness approvals. We understand the operational tempo of helicopter operations and the requirements of some of the largest helicopter fleet operators in the world, and we leverage off our experience to provide the most effective solutions efficiently.
Our people combine technical skills with an in-depth understanding of the helicopter market. We provide the same quality service whether it is a one-off modification or a fleet upgrade, working with helicopter operators and their preferred MRO centres to deliver solutions tailored to their needs.
With 3 global design centres, we provide continuous time-zone coverage with the convenience of being in the same geographic region as our customers, whether it is in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific or Oceania.

CASE STUDIESDELIVERING TURN KEY SOLUTIONS TO OUR CUSTOMERS IN THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE MANNER
The helicopter solutions provider Swiss Rotor Solutions designed a replace-ment bubble door for the AS350?H125 Ecureil helicopter, to improve down-ward visibility during underslung and aerial work operation.
GVH Aerospace provided the turn key solution to improve the design and certify the bubble door as an EASA STC. The bubble door dramatically improves the downward visibility and the safety of underslung operations. Designed as a complete replacement of the original right cockpit door, the Maximum Pilot View Kit is available as a retrofit option for the AS350B2, B3 and H125 variants.

Highlights The global helicopter service provider was contracted to provide transporta-tion services to the oil and gas fields, and to provide emergency medical evacuation services for personnel in-jured in the field.
GVH Aerospace designed the new generation AeroStretcher® stretcher system, complete with a medical oxy-gen system that is compatible with the operator’s fleet of heavy H225 and S-92 helicopters, and the fixed wing operator’s fleet of Beech King Air air ambulances. This integrated system streamlined the aeromedical transfer process and minimises patient transfer across stretchers.

The global helicopter operator is in-troducing the helicopter type into service as part of its fleet replacement program. The helicopters will require modifications to meet the existing transportation contract requirements.
GVH Aerospace provided a turn key solution, comprising of modification packages and installation parts kits, for the global helicopter operator to rapidly modify and reconfigure the helicopters, preparing the newly intro-duced helicopters for rapid entry-into-service. The rapid turn-around time enabled a seamless introduction of the type into the contract.

HELPING OPERATORS COMPETE AND MEET THEIR BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS
Helicopters are ideally suited for multi-mission roles. The ability to rapidly reconfigure a helicopter from one mis-sion type to another provides increased operational flexibility and improves fleet utilisation. For example, oil and gas charter flight operators may be required to provide aeromedical or search and rescue services as part of the charter flight contract.
Regardless of whether you are operating a single-type fleet or a mixed fleet with different helicopter types, the ability to install the same role and mission equipment onto different helicopters provide not only operational efficiencies but also significant financial savings by maximising the value of the capital investment. The ongoing search for better profitability through operational efficiencies and the need to provide different services require innovative solutions to equip the existing aircraft in the fleet with equipment and solutions that are not fitted or available from the helicopter OEM at affordable price points.
We provide cost effective modification solutions to help our helicopter customers compete more effectively. From initial contact through to modification embodiment and release into service, we work with our customers to de-liver our solutions effectively. Our solutions include:
• Oil and gas cabin reconfigurations• VIP interiors• Inflight Entertainment Systems• Passenger services including in-seat power• Avionics upgrades including satellite communications, EVS and ADS-B• Permanent and role-change aeromedical conversions• Search and rescue conversions• Searchlights and electro-optic systems• Police mission systems and tactical communications• Parapublic tactical modifications including sniper bars and rappel/fast rope attachments• Night vision cockpit lighting• Underslung cargo modifications including dual cargo hook modifications• Human external cargo• Geophysical survey modifications and equipment poles

ENSURING SUCCESSFUL DELIVERY OF MODIFICATIONS
The successful delivery of projects depend on the effective coordination of all the activities including the on-time delivery of modification technical data, materiel and products, and effecient execution of the modification work. Our team of engineers has extensive experience in the Airbus, Bell, Leonardo and Sikorsky helicopter types, in-cluding the most popular small helicopters such as the H135, through to the popular super medium helicopters such as the AW139, and the heavy helicopters in the Super Puma and S-92 families. Our customers include region-al helicopter operators of small fleets and global helicopter operators that have presence in multiple countries.
Whether it is a simple structural installation or a complex avionics systems installation requiring assessment against DO-178 and DO-254 requirements, we provide scalable solutions that can include project management through to the supply of installation parts kits to facilitate modification embodiment. Our extensive network of suppliers are able to provide aeromedical equipment, seats, and components required for a complete cabin reconfiguration and avionics/electrical installation kits required for complex modifications such as installation of avionics and mission equipment. We will work with you to systematically design the modification, understanding your requirements to ensure the successful outcome of the project. We will work hand in glove with you to plan the job for success, so you can focus on achieving your business objectives.
Whether it is a turn-key modification project leading to a Supplemental Type Certificate or a minor modification, our objective will be to deliver a cost effective and efficient project for you.
