The final project was conducted within the framework of six guidance groups. This framework was held for the first semester and included the research, thesis preparation and design solution stages. The learning process was characterized by collaboration between the studio groups both in the advancement of the processes in the groups themselves and the students' access to discuss matters with each one of the forum's instructors – during the research process as well as the process of developing the design solution. This forum operated as a conceptual work group based on the assumption that studio studies operate as a design research laboratory combined with lectures, critique sessions with guests and critiquing between the groups. Landscape Architecture
Introduction: following the academic activities dealing with sustainable construction, I developed various initiatives based on a green approach that "envelopes" a building. Inspired by buildings and projects overseas, the firm is engaged in the development of Vertical Gardens that are based on pasting or hanging beddings and the walls or facades of buildings, and planting plants vertically. These projects are in development and construction stages due to the complexity of the issue of insulation, weight, irrigation and growth.
2008 Study dealing with beddings and plants for a vertical wall – Rupin College campus –
follow up The project was conducted in collaboration with the school for landscape architecture at
Rupin college, agronomist Ami Frankel and Hadar Stabilization & Landscaping Systems company. The study was part of the final project of 2 students and included testing of suitable beddings, irrigation systems and suitability of plants.
2008 Vertical garden in the Technion campus, Haifa – not executed .
The project will be conducted as part of the ecological garden at the Technion, and with the approval of the Technion's Engineering department.
The venture was conducted in collaboration with Ms. Daniela Coppell, agronomist Ami Frankel and the environmental consultant Dr. Architect Limor Shashua.

2008 Firefly – External lighting – under production
Development of an exterior light based on LED lighting. The light is made of optical Plexiglas with lenses with an integral light disperser. The effect is created as a result of a unique optical design. The light's distinction is that during the day its presence is minor- neutral. At night, when it is turned on, most of the rod is in darkness, with the end creating an effect of a firefly flying in space. The project was conducted in collaboration with experts in the field of optics from NES company, that specialized in the development and production of advanced electro-optical system. The end of second generation development and beginning of the production and branding stage. Special projects / Productions / Films
2009 The Story of the Pool
The film was produced, adapted and designed in collaboration with Ofra Rodnitzki (an artist and designer), Shlomit Sonnino (a film and TV producer, a film lecturer at Shankar and at the Wizo Haifa design academy). The film is based on a short story by architect Rem Koolhaas, that was published in his book entitled Delirious New –York. The book is an alternative description of the city of New York through social and cultural phenomena that are not generally included in the official documentation of cities and buildings. The technology selected for depicting the story is computer animation that combines 2D with 3D and is based on the constructivist language: each scene is born from a deconstruction of constructive works.

E. Summary of My Research Activities and Future Plans
My research activities can be divided into three main categories:
1. Theoretical research of sustainable architecture. In the exhibition I curated, designed and produced in 2014 - "Green Thoughts" I started to record and analyze the widespread notion of sustainability concepts and ideas in Israeli architecture and landscape design.
2. Research on new teaching methods of design studio : Online Design Studio: Paradigms of learning in a changing world and their implementation in design & architecture Studio. With architect Tal Delange. The study will focus on several key issues such as the identification and definition of the new student profile, detection platforms and technology-rich learning environments, new models contemporary shape and other learning methods.
3. Practical design research following the agenda of Green and healthy interiors - Biophilia - Inclusive design - The impact of plants on the reduction of volatile organic compounds in indoor spaces - Urban Agriculture.
This approach is applied to my professional work in the development of sustainable houses and public buildings like the first passive kindergarten that is been built in the city of Hadera. During the last years I have developed:
a. Vertical garden modules for limited spaces.
b. "Yielding Tables"- A raised planter & gardening table adapted for children with physical and mental disabilities
c. I am planning to develop air purification objects based on Spirulina.
In summary I see myself as a promoter of sustainability and green building in every aspect of my life: as architect, designer, teacher and social activist. I am leading a group of students of the school of Interior and Innovation together with students of Afeka College to the 2017 Solar Decathlon that is going to be held in China in the design and building of a passive house.
