Weaning Workshops
For babies aged 3 4 months
This workshop gives parents and carers all the current weaning
information they need before they begin the weaning process at
around 6 months.
Please ring to book a place.Sessions held: Tuesdays 15Jan, 5 February and 5 March, all 1-2pm
Safety Workshop
This is a one off session to help you to make your home environment
safer and help you to consider and adapt your safety measures at
each stage of your childs development. Please contact us for further

Baby MassageFor babies aged 6 weeks up to crawling

Baby Massage The course is designed to promote parent and child
bonding. Massage aids sleep and relieves colic and constipation.
Breastfeeding SupportA wide variety of breastfeeding support is available, including individual
support from a childrens centre worker, a local peer supporter or our
Breastfeeding group. For more information please contact us.
ParentcraftThis is an interactive ante natal course aimed at informing expectant
parents and carers about all aspects of caring for your newborn.
Budgeting, benefits and help returning towork
Support is available to assist parents and carers in returning to work,
including help with looking at childcare costs and other benefits.
Budgeting assistance is also available.
Home Visits/Family SupportHome visits and family support are available for families in times of
particular need. To enquire about making a request for family support
please call (01482) 896300.
Parents Forums
Hedon Parents Forums give parents and carers the opportunity to help
the centre to develop services to ensure that we are meeting theneeds of the locality. We run informal meetings and welcome your
feedback. If you are interested in attending the parents forum please
speak to a staff member.
