RadiantPEX-AL pipe and fittings are manufactured

to American Standard Testing Methods for

requirements and test methods for materials,

workmanship, dimensions, environmental stress

cracking, sustained hydrostatic pressure strength,

thermo-cycling resistance and bend strength,among other tests. RadiantPEX-AL meets or

exceeds these specifications.

RadiantPEX-AL pipe is actually a five layer construction.

Codes, Listings, and Standards.

Tubing: RadiantPEX-AL is manufactured in accordance with American

Standard Testing Methods (ASTM) F-1281, is tested and listed by the

National Sanitation Foundation (NSF-PW Standards 14 and 61 and

NSF-rfh), and carries the UPC certification mark, as approved by the

International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO).

Fittings: Press Fittings are tested and listed by NSF (NSF-PW and NSF-

rfh). Compression fittings do not carry the NSF-PW listing, but are tested

and listed to NSF-rfh.

Watts Radiant’s line of Press fittings offers a clean, reliable method of connection

for RadiantPEX-AL. The Stainless Steel sleeve creates a permanent, unyielding

union on the outside, while the double O-rings form a dependable internal seal. A

polyethylene insulator protects against corrosion between brass and aluminum pipe

layers. Choose from a wide variety of fitting styles and sizes to suit your needs and

use just one tool to make all your connections. Press fittings are listed by NSF toNSF-PW and NSF-rfh and carry the UPC mark.

RadiantPEX-AL Compression Fittings

The RadiantPEX-AL fitting system from Watts Radiant is as simple as it looks.

All you need is a box-end wrench to tighten the nut. Made of solid brass, these

fittings are for long, trouble-free service. Double O-rings and a brass compression

ring insure a leak-proof connection. A polyethylene insulator protects against

corrosion between brass and aluminum pipe layers. Compression fittings are

listed by NSF to NSF-rfh.
