Fantasy and Realism

Fantasy is to Realism::Fiction is to Nonfiction

Fantasy involves events that could not happen in real life. Such as talking animals and

flying babies.

Fiction relates to any story that is not real or did not really

happen.

Realism involves events that could happen in real life. Such as talking children and flying birds.

Nonfiction relates to any story that is based on fact or really

happened.

Might fish falling from the sky be a fantasy or a real

event? Explain your answer.

What causes snakes, frogs, and fish to fall from the

sky?
