pening around St. Anne’s…

In 2016, the Adorers of the Bloodof Christ recognized the 150th anniversary of the passing of St. Maria De Mattias. As part of that recognition, the Mission Committee of St. Anne’s promoteda year-long initiative, “CelebratingOur Sisters,” which honored theAdorers through articles, a hallwaydisplay and Sisters’ quotes printedon several signs decorating our annual block party. A Service of Remembrance was also held at theASC cemetery honoring all of the Adorers buried since 1925. Kevin KraP—from the Clyde W. KraP Funeral Home in Columbia—generously donated a special plaque for the cemetery that reads: “In Memory of the 157 Adorers of the Blood of Christ, U.S. Region Columbia Area, Interred in JisCemetery. Recognized on the 150th Anniversary of the Death of St. Maria De Mattias. August 20, 2016.”
