Dear Nursing Professional

The 6th Nursing Conference is a three day event, with the first two days exploring transcultural understanding as a major challenge in the nursing profession. Awareness of patients’ needs and expectations based on culture is especially important in a world where patients’ move across borders for employment, treatment or leisure. There is no doubt then that improving understanding of the importance of culture will in turn positively impact the quality of services and patient outcomes. The third day of the conference will focus on nurses as agents of change in clinical practice. The day’s sessions will emphasise case studies showing what happens when decision-making is placed in the hands of people who work at the bedside and know how patient care is delivered.

Of note this year is our collaboration with the UAE Nursing and Midwifery Council (UAE NMC) who will be represented on the agenda. Be sure to catch their representatives as they give presentations on several significant topics at the conference.

This year’s Nursing Conference will offer participants a unique opportunity to discuss and debate new areas of thought in cultural awareness in the nursing profession. It will also equip participants with multi-context perceptions on nursing leadership at the forefront of clinical change.

Don’t miss this exciting professional gathering. Places are limited, so register today!

I look forward to seeing you this October.

Kind regards
