This innovative and comprehensive program will address multiple disciplinary topics related to all aspects of Women’s Health. We will be hosting a Hands-On Cadaveric Dissection Lab, TLH & TVH Simulation Lab, in addition to didactic sessions with nationally recognized speakers and surgeons.
In collaboration with the Bariatrics Division, we will be offering a course entitled “Contemporary Weight Management Certification Course”. This course will give attendees the opportunity to earn certification to offer these services in their offices.
We’re excited to announce that the Symposium is supported by a partnership with Banner University Medical Center, and The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. In addition, we have also received endorsement from the AAGL and at the time this brochure was sent to print we were in the process of obtaining endorsement with ACOG.

meeting room during the
conference. We strongly urge you to

Exhibitor Session
We will have a diverse group of
exhibitors in the exhibit hall both
days of the event who wish to tell
you about their services and/or
products. Attendees will have their
morning breakfast, breaks, and
lunches with the exhibitors. In
addition, we will also host a cocktail hour for the attendees and
Exhibitors on the evening of
September 21st, at the conclusion of the Weight Management sessions.
Take some time to visit with them
and get to know more about them.

This course will prepare primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered dietician and nurses to manage adult and adolescent patients affected by obesity. State of the art science coupled with practical methods of achieving improved health for patients and incorporating case-based teaching will allow the participant to integrate these principles into their practice and help prepare them to take the certification in obesity medicine (American Board of Obesity Medicine). A certificate in obesity management from the Center for Obesity and Bariatric Surgery will be available for those practitioners attending the entire 8-hour CME course.
