Funding for NHS programmes

NHS bursaries are made up of:

• full payment of tuition fees

• £1 000 grant from NHS

• bursary from NHS

• Maintenance Loan from Student Finance

Funding for Social Work programme

The social work bursary was introduced by the Department of Health as an incentive to train in social work.

All eligible applicants receive a non-income assessed basic grant. 

The position will be reviewed for entry in 2013
