Bulimia Nervosa

Bulimia Nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by recurrent binge eating. Most people who have bulimia use laxatives or purge right after eating.

One way this disorder effects a person’s brain is by making them believe they have to purge or go to the bathroom right after eating, this is because they have done it so much their body is used to doing it after eating.

This disorder can effect a person’s behavior by effecting the relationships around that person through argument, changing the way the person reacts around food, and causing them to increase their judgment on how they look themselves.
